suprisingly... don't eat as often.
when you eat healthy food multiple times a day, your body gets accustomed to knowing that "hey, im gonna have food in just a bit, i dont need to store this fat for later"
probably the best solution is to eat just 3 times a day and increase your calorie intake probably by 10% of what ever you are eating now.
so... if you are eating 5 times a day and consuming 2500 calories... eat 3 times a day instead and consume 2750 calories... 250 calories more is like... a powder sugar doughnut...
continue the same kinds of exercise you do... but do not do more... you may want to do more weight lifting... that way you tone muscle instead of having flab. xp
you should gain about a pound a week that way.

@bneum12: If you are trying to gain weight, you should definitely talk to your doctor. They can help you out by referring you to a nutritionist. They can give you advice on what foods will benefit you more.
This article I am posting clearly says not to eat junk/unhealthy foods. This will cause you to gain unhealthy weight.
How to gain weight safely.
ALSO, exercising is another way to gain weight. It may sound silly, but muscle does in fact weigh more than fat! If you build up your muscles, you will undoubtedly gain weight. c:
I'm not sure if your problem has already been solved, but I hope this helps.
