I have an audition tomorrow and I need to practice! My french horn has sat untouched for, I don't know, about a month, maybe more! The keys won't move at all! Usually I fixed this by rotating the part that pulls on the string instead of pressing on the keys, but even THAT is stuck! I need to practice really bad! Please help me! If you know ANYTHING about home maintenance PLEASE help!!!!

use the oil that you normally use to unstick your valves. DO NOT MIX OILS!!!! If your not careful and you mix oils, your valves will feel like they're stuck with peanut butter, and then you'll need to send it in to get cleaned.
