So I went to do a count of all my countless (I know, contradiction) issues of STH. And it turns out my collection is complete... ALMOST. An issue... A single issue... is missing! Issue #146 (April 2005)! I scowered my room and some of the house, and it was nowhere to be found! Looks like I'm gonna have to do something I've never had to do before: Order a back issue! gonk

At least you can still get back issues of Archie without resorting to eBay.

If only it were that easy....I don't know which is worse when it comes to back issues with Archie; the overdone "shameless plugging" of the order form, or the fact that one has to order a bundle of issues just to get that ONE that you missed.
I mean, geez, what's so wrong with ordering separate issues? Sure, bundles are nice for those who have been out of the loop for about a year or more, but what about those who were just unlucky enough to miss a single issue?

I think the store I get mine at stocks up on extra copies of issues, in case their customers need back issues. I'm hoping that thought is true.

I FOUND IT!!! blaugh
I'm so happy! Last night I finally found my missing issue!
Stoopid me, if only I had've looked in my desk more thoroughly! It was right under a messy pile of miscellaneous stoofs!
Oh well! At least I found it! My collection is full, again! biggrin

Arrg! I know the feeling! @_@ My comic shop recently stopped carrying anything under Archie, so they have to special order Sonic for me. And they keep skipping issues (One of which I'm still missing). I finally broke down and ordered an online suncription because of the mess...

J-Swifty Arrg! I know the feeling! @_@ My comic shop recently stopped carrying anything under Archie, so they have to special order Sonic for me. And they keep skipping issues (One of which I'm still missing). I finally broke down and ordered an online suncription because of the mess... tell me about it my comic store does the same trick in fact I orderd in a bundel of eight ran home for an hour (that's considerd good time) then when I get home Darkest Storm part 3 is missing!!!!!!! gonk so I hadto run back and ask what happened and then i find out I had to wait another TWO WEEKS crying crying gonk gonk gonk

I think I've got.... #38 to... uhm...the most current? 170, that's it.

I cannot share the same sorrow as I feel the comics are full of fail and dumb. I'd prefer it if Sega just made their own department for the Sonic comics, rather then letting Archie comics do it, but I've done this rant before....
