Then TURN IT OFF!! Dah!

Go to your gim and click settings (don't you love the edits wink )
User Image - Blocked by "Display Image" Settings. Click to show.

And uncheck the enable pop up option

Tah dah! You are now free from pop up spams! You can also do this through preferences.

OOOH i didn't know you could do that! i never really bothered to look at it lol but thanks now i can set it off
One time someone was whispering me and i wasn't on zOMG! so GIM kept popping up and it made a new window for every sentence they wrote lol so i got stuck with 30 windows or something very bothersome so this is really helpful thank you blaugh

I turned it off but then when i went on zOMG! clan chat wasn't working so i just turned it back on and it worked o: so i guess i can't turn them off i'm not sure 'cause today clan chat wasn't working again... oh well it's still helpful to know (:

It didn't show anything so i turned GIM pop ups back on and it worked then the next day it was the same and didn't show anything anymore oh well it's just having mood swings or something :/

You might as well try it when there are members around to make sure they are not showing up. Sometimes the words don't show up for you but others can still read it. It can be annoying but at least it is working.
