I was just wondering about how everyone here was first introduced to the amazing OCT'S.
For me, my BFF Bryttanie showed me Unknown's LoT Flashes a couple months ago when I was visiting her place. . I think I'm more obsessed than her with them now, though. *laughs*
What about you guys?

I was sent one of Unknown's flashes as an example while I was learning flash on my own~ With a little help from a good friend~
I took a look at his flashes and became interested in OCTs in general, as well as a little flash work inspiration.

I was looking through Spooky's gallery and saw her fanart of Karl.
I fell in love with the way he looked and followed her links to Unknown's profile.
The rest was history. heart

I was watching Suki and Curly on dA, and all of a sudden they started putting up fanart of Karl, Climber, and I think a few of Mizuno, and the links to the owners, so I checked the character references out, and then looked at Unknown's flashes, and fell in love with it, which made me look up all of the other rounds people had, and just kept up ever since. Though, it was, in a way, quite hard. XD

Yeah, I first encountered OCTs via Unknown-person, like a good 60% of the OCT world. But after looking at exileddelusion and Endling, I was HOOKED. Then I discovered Zeurel, Mr. Tea-and-Crumpets, BlackLillian, and CyriltheWizard, and there was no going back! And those folks are just the ones I watch! There's tons of incredible artists out there participating in OCTs, and I want to join them!
By the way, I misvoted at the top. I meant to put "Zeurel" as my favorite OCT contestant. I love the dude's work.

Haha, Unknown-Person, if it's not obvious. I was surfing the popular deviations one day and chanced across Endzone Round III, and the rest is pretty much history!

Honestly, I got into them by complete accident! XD
I logged on and, lo and behold, there was an Unknown-Person flash on the front page. It looked interesting, so I clicked on it.
After that, I was hooked on OCTs and their prestious artists. The characters were original and intersting and everyone took different approches for the same situation.
I was just... so interesting.
