In Italy, for thirty years under the Borgias, they had warfare, terror, murder and bloodshed, but they produced Michelangelo, Leonardo da Vinci, and the Renaissance...
Our band yearly makes a trip for the Auburn show over near Seattle. We live in Spokane, so therefore we have to cross the Rockies. Up Snoqualmie Pass in late August is NOT a good idea. 20+ ride depending on the weather and tail/headwind. We mostly sleep, but we'll also play Catch Phrase for fricken HOURS ON END.
[It's Awesome.]
... In Switzerland they had brotherly love, they had five hundred years of democracy and peace, what did they produce? The cuckoo clock.

'Bout 4 hours... We watched This Is It, sang MJ songs very loudly, locked a percussionist in the bus bathroom, ate a lot of candy and had really bad sugar rushes, started a Taylor Swift sing-a-long [[Theres a reason we aren't in chorus]] and as we were getting to our destination everyone was up getting they're stuff and random people were pretending to be flight attendents saying "Please make sure your tray tables are locked in the upright postion. Please remain seated with our seatbelts securly fastened until the captian has turned off the fasten seat belts sign. Thank you for flying with We're-so-ghetto airlines, have a wonderful day"

I think our longest bus ride was like 6 1/2 hours.
Mostly we just play our DS's (pretty much just Pokemon and Mario Kart.), play this game I think some band alumni made up called Big Booty, another card game called Mau, and then just like truth or dare. Last field season (my freshman year :] ) I listened to a metronome while I did all this. (I had issues with the opener tempo and I started the show so it would've been really bad O.o)

The longest I've been on is the one to Indy which is about 4 hours. But this year we're going to Disney World in Orlando Florida, so I believe that ride will be much longer xD We are also going to St Louis which I believe is a longer bus ride than Indy is. Funfunfun(:

Anywhere from 7-9 hours from Brownsville to San Antonio. Stupid buses take FOREVER when I could take the same trip in 5-6 hours. >_>
Anywho, we do normal stuff. Lol. Eat, sleep [[sometimes on the floor]], play games, rubix cubes, sudoku [[our band past time other than tetris]], mess with our laptops, sing, read, do homework [[PFFT]], watch movies, talk, listen to music, goof off, etc.
And yes. Couples do "couple stuff". Lol. XD

36 hours. Yeah, you read that right, THREE DAYS ON A BUS.
My band got to go to the Rose Parade this year and we drove from southwest Missouri to Los Angeles. We had no hotels or anything, we stopped every four hours or so to eat or stretch. We left at 10 pm the 26th of December and got to Cali around noon on the 28th. We slept during the night with one person on the floor, one on the bench. At least, that's what my seat partner and I did. No showers for three days led to several people washing their hair in sinks at macdonalds XD. We kept ourselves occupied with card games on the floor, ipods, singing, a bunch of funny group discussions, and sleeping lol
