Constance: *booted out and is twitching and looks as if he's sweating like crazy*
Ruka: *wanders into the clearing, and spots Constance* Hello! biggrin *notices he looks warm* Over heated? D=
Constance: *twitches and barks angrily* It is hotter than ever before. I can't -stand- this heat. *his ears falls back and he shake himself and some sweat drips off*
Ruka: There's air conditioning at the house. Would you like go there? We have some ice too. biggrin
Constance: *frowns* Ice I can deal with, but not fake 'cold' air. I get chest pains.
Ruka: *nods* Okay, then you can hang out in the shade outside of the house and I'll bring out some ice for you. ^^ Would you like that?
Constance: *one ear flicks to the front as he grumbles and turns his head* Lead the way, if it means I can get out of this annoying heat.
Ruka: Okay! *leads the way to Sara's house*
Constance: *follows behind a little slower than usuall and groans* Stupid heat.
Ruka: *slowly arrives at Sara's house* Here we are. =3 I'll go get some ice.
Constance: *he groans again and moves over to a shaded tree* Mmm.. thanks.
Ruka: *returns carrying a bag of ice over to Constance* Here you go. ^^
Constance: *he stares at it for a momment and grads it, placing it on top of his head and just lays there* Thanks.
Ruka: No problem. Glad I could help. ^^
Constance: *mumbles, not wanting to waist energy* Why aren't you bothered by this heat?
Ruka: *thinks* I don't know. ^^; I'm not comfortable though.
Constance: Only uncomfortable? I thought someone from winter would understand my pain.
Ruka: Well, I am uncomfortable... *doesn't like voicing her opinion often* ...it's way too warm for my tastes... *ears perk up as she switches from her opinion to plain fact and advice* Swimming helps to keep namrah cool too. b biggrin So I swim a lot in shaded ponds.
Constance: That's what I thought. Go get yourself some ice and sit here with me then. *his ears twitch at this and he yawns* Too much work for me. I like sitting here better.
Ruka: Okay. *scuttles off to get herself some ice and returns with some ice on her head, looking more comfortable now*
Constance: You feel better now, don't you.
Ruka: *nods, then has to balance the ice bag on her head when it almost slips off* Whoa! Hehe, it almost slipped off. xd
Constance: *blinks at this and looks up* Try putting it side way on your head?
Ruka: *adjusts it* Like this?
Constance: *nods* Mhm. *his ears twitch thinking about her responses before* Do you like to do anything other than swim to cool off?
Ruka: *thinks* Hmmm...well, there are these things called freeze pops which are frozen juice that you can eat. 3nodding
Constance: How is it?
Ruka: They taste pretty good, though not everyone likes them. Want to try one?
Constance: Do you like it? I'll try it once I hear your opinion.
Ruka: *nods*
Constance: *his ears twitch back* What do you think of it.
Ruka: I think it tastes good...I like the purple one, it's grape.
Constance: *his ears twitch and he smirks* I'll try the purple one then.
Ruka: Okay. =3 *goes off into kitchen to fetch a purple freeze pop*
Constance: *his tails flicks back and forth as he sighs at the cold liquid dripping down his face as he waits for her return, and then begins thinking of some things*
Ruka: *returns with the purple freeze pop, two of them actually* Here you go. ^^ *hands one over*
Constance: *he takes the pup and takes a big bite out of it, chewing nonchalantly* Thank you, It does taste good.
Ruka: No problem. ^^ *sucks on hers*
Constance: *he blinks at this* You lick it like a candypop?
Ruka: It depends on the person. Some bite it, some suck on it. Either method is fine. 3nodding
Constance: *his tail flicks to and fro again, moving to lick it now then shrugs* Much cooler when you bite it.
Ruka: *bites into it to test* ...you're right. =D
Constance: *nods and takes a last bite out of it* Feels good doesn't it.
Ruka: *nods*
Constance: What does it feel like to you...?
Ruka: Cool? Like the coldness is travelling down to my stomach.
Constance: *smirks at this* You don't belong in the heat, why do you stay here?
Ruka: *thinks about this for a moment* I...I don't know...
Constance: *he quirks a brow* You don't know?
Ruka: *shakes her head* I'm not sure why I stick around here. I suppose I could go to the mountains... *isn't sure why she hasn't*
Constance: Then do that. It isn't healthy for us to stay down here anyway.
Ruka: True. *thinks for a moment* So are you going to go to the mountains too? *noted the 'us'*
Constance: *his ears twitch as he yawns and shifts the ice pack* I will be later tonight.
Ruka: So I suppose I'll see you there? *doesn't really want to be all alone on the mountains without someone she's acquainted with*
Constance: *nods* Unless you come up with me tonight.
Ruka: That would be nice. ^^ *likes the idea of company while travelling to a relatively unknown place*
Constance: We'll be leaving before midnight then, tell me when you have everything you need.
Ruka: *mentally goes through the list of things that she has that she might want to bring along* ...okay, I've just got a couple of things to bring. *mostly thinking of books since she knows where food and water is from the mountain* I'll go get them. Be back in a minute. ^^ *goes off to get the books in question*
Constance: *his smirk moves it's way back onto his lips and he closes his eyes* 'This is working well.' *thinking this happily?*
Ruka: *returns with a couple of books in tow, in a kind of pack that would make them easy to carry* Okay, I'm all set. =3
Constance: What type of books did you get? *he stand up and shakes off the water, but looks more refreshed*
Ruka: I got a book called The Talisman, and another book called Gulliver's Travels.
