I think the graphics should be pretty kick-a**. With what they have now, I won't be surprised is everything looks amazingly realistic.
I'm a little scared about actors/actresses. In the DN movie they had like, the perfect people to play the characters, and with YYH I'm a little nervous. I mean, look at the DBZ movie? Oh, and I am like, hoping soooo bad that the YYH movie doesn't get made by the same people who did DBZ. I didn't see it, and it looked horrible.

havishanta "Welll... Since the series is like...over 100 epis long, I doubt they could fit the ENTIRE thing into a movie. I mean, DN was only like, what? 30 episodes or so, and they changed the storyline to make it fit into two movie. I guess they could have a movie for each arc.. They would most likely only do one saga as the movie insted of going over the whole story. Because the first plot was important but a good idea would be to do the dark tornament as a movie. Anyways it would be best to do the first saga or the DT saga because they would make good movie plots

Yeah, definitely. I wouldn't be too surprised if they just had Yukina mission be the first one and then move straight on from Toguro.
Man, I wouldn't be able to WAIT for the casting. I'm kind of hoping that they would cast whoever's best for the role, but to get more views, they might have to pick famous actors. : /
I think Kuwabara would be one of the hardest to cast. Keiko or Yusuke would be pretty easy to cast I think. : D

*eyes hurt after reading so many updated threads and walls of text...need asprin...* To get back on the original topic, I'm 21 and most of my RL friends that are fans are around the same age or a little older (I have no YYH fan friends that are younger than 21).

On the OP, I have noticed that most fans are older. I myself am 18, and I don't really know anyone (other than havi and the rest of you here) younger than I am who likes the show or has even heard of it.
As for the movie, I'd hate to be negative, but I think it's a little late for the movie to do more than excite fans and get a few hundred people interested in it. I mean, if the movie had come out a few years ago, it might have kick-started the series back into popularity. But the show has been cancelled on Toonami (as far as I know) and it's not that popular anymore. I think the movie would be too little, too late. BUT it could still be fun to watch. ^^

Cartoon Network would have to pick up YYH again.....and that won't happen gonk I hate CN!!!!!!! stressed
I'm 17 and I know a girl who is 18 and a Hiei fangirl. Also a bunch of ppl when I'm on myspace and mention yu yu they say,"ohhhh i remember that show- that is so old." or they say they liked it, but can't even remember the characters names. They are all around my age.
Most ppl at my age like Naruto, Bleach, and/or Deathnote because they are "now". Though one guy likes Cowboy Bebop.
I like Deathnote, but it has nothing on YYH.
