Battle Hunter: Mankind's Last Hope

In the near future, mankind survives a third ?Great War," but just barely. The remaining scientists who are dedicated to bringing humanity back from the brink of extinction need vital information and special items that are stored in the ruins of former high-tech cities. Too dangerous for normal troops, these missions require the use of highly trained mercenaries code-named: ?Hunters." These combat veterans face the terrors of a mutated underworld while competing with other Hunters for the chance to bring back the prized relics of the past!

Purgatory

Being the horror fan that you are you decide to enter the 'Scariest Places In the World!' Contest, hoping that you'll get the chance to explore all of the major haunting grounds of the world. Luck so happens a few weeks later you recieve a letter in the mail. Excitedly you open it up and recieve two plane tickets and a pamphlet stating;

Congratulations! You and a few other contestants have won the opportunity of a lifetime! Bring along a friend as you will both eplore with our professional team's of ghost hunters as they venture into the many new haunting grounds that our paranormal investigators have recently found! We're looking forward to your presense!

Little do you know, the spirits you will soon encounter have been awakened...and they're pissed off...will you survive the world of Purgatory or will you to join the bloodthirsty spirits in their revenge upon the living? Test the limits of your fear, and sanity in the realm of Purgatory...

You wake up one morning to find your world has changed. People have been taken away to be slaves and the media is controlled by the upper class. You go back to sleep and deny all of this but it all changes the day the army came into your town to round up slaves. You wake up to the screams of rage and hear gunfire. You smell the burnt flesh of people burned in their homes. Children cry for mothers lost and you finally decide.....It is time to resist.
