"Of course my lord. It would be my pleasure." Astril replied with a smile. She had never had the chance to spend any time with Lucifer alone. Most of the time while she was around him it was business related.

Astril watched as her master left the garden, and she soon followed. When she emerged on earth, she saw Lucifer conversing with a man. He looked to be a hunter, with a large hunting hound. She moved out of the shadows to her master's side.

"Master...." The girl began, a little curious as to why they had appeared to a simple hunter, " is he to be recruted?"

Lucifer turned around at the sound of “Master” to see that Astril had joined him in the open. His lips curled at the question of whether the man would be recruited. “Oh no, I don’t think there is a prospect of recruiting Joshua. I believe you tried a while back and the poor man decided to go with the path of light. But, that is why we are here now. Awaiting Joshua’s guardian to show up...that is if he ever does.”

Pomfry stood up and moved away from Lucifer’s side. A low dangerous growl seemed to be coming from deep inside him. His eyes were a blood red now and he fangs were barred. The doberman was not looking towards Joshua, but looking up into the sky. His noise flared as the beast sniffed the air hungrily.

”Ah, judging by Pomfry’s reaction...we shouldn’t have to wait too long.”

A tight knot began to form in the pit of Astril's stomach. She felt the guardians presence like one would feel an approaching natural disaster. Her bones ached. She moved up a little closer to her master and his angry pet.

He may not have been worried, but Astril wasn't the all powerful prince of darkness and knew that the impending fight was well on its way. She would do all she could to fight for her lord. She may not have been strong, but she had always had the will to keep going.

She would not allow anything to threaten her master. And though she was scared, she moved to Lucifer's side and braced herself.

Solstice looked over at Mitsu, this kind hearted woman was making her relax however intentionally it may be. Perhaps a friend like her down here would do her some good, she was after all supposed to be. A Fallen Angel belonged with Lucifer, and now he had one, not that he knew it, as his bride to be. The various teas made her smile, showing her that Mitsu was just doing her best to try and make comfortable despite everything.

"No...but," She paused, unsure of how this would be take, "Would you stay for a while? I would like another woman to talk too. There were few in the barracks, and you seem to be my only ally here."

Marius hadn't understood. He thought that he was in the right, that Solstice's leaving was something that could be solved, not something that was desired. The voice of God resonated through his core; he would say no more at the matter. At the word "Captain," Marius felt a strange energy in his chest. He was the Captain of the Holy Warriors. 'I didn't want this... he thought bitterly. Somehow, he always thought he would be Solstice's second-hand, forever by her side with none of this responsibility.

When Freya tugged at his sleeve, he snapped from his self-pitying reverie. No longer did he want to be here. A cold shock went through him at that thought: an angel who did not desire the presence of God? But thoughts of Solstice - dear Solstice - overshadowed the alarms. Lucifer was his target. Then he thought of Joshua. He remembered the fear, the darkness of his dreams. He did not want to keep Joshua waiting, either.

"Let's go, Freya," he said once they had left the office. "First, my home. Then, we go to Joshua."
