Follow forum TOS. Most rules fall within the TOS but I will state the important ones anyway.
No Plagiarism - cite or quote things that aren't your own work, and record where you got them from. If someone suspects something is someone else's work, you will be asked to edit your post to provide your sources. Failure to do this will result in your post being removed and you will be given a warning.
Respect others - not just the crew, not just your fellow members, but the gods, cultures, religions, etc. The other side of this is to have a sense of humour and not get too bent out of shape if something offends you. wink
Cultural misappropriation is not okay. We're aware that not everyone realises when things are misappropriated. Breaking this rule will not result in a ban, but repeated offences when you're aware something is unacceptable may do.
Respect those who are trying to help, even if they're telling you something you do not want to know. If you're here to learn, that's great, and we know things can be difficult to process or hear sometimes, but chewing out or abusing someone for trying to help or share their knowledge is inappropriate.
The guild is not a spellbook. Spellbegging will not be tolerated, and we also ask you not to post spells. While some discussion of witchcraft is absolutely fine, this isn't a witchcraft-based guild, and at any rate most are in agreement that one should write one's own spells. Asking for or randomly posting spells is against the rules.
Be aware:
- Swearing is okay here. If you have a problem with swearing, you will have to deal with that.
- We use a particular definition of "Wicca" here.... the correct one wink If you claim to be a Wiccan, don't be surprised if someone asks you your tradition or lineage.
- Some of the crew are hard polytheists. When you speak about deities, keep in mind many of us think of them as individual entities and will be offended if you speak of them all lumped in together.
