I feel like quoting the doc (a.k.a. Anton LaVey)
Life, the great indulgence - Death, the great abstinence. Therefore, we live life to the fullest - HERE AND NOW! There is no heaven of glory bright and no hell where sinners roast! Here and now is our day of torment, here and now is our day of joy! Here and now is our opportunity!
Basically, live life to the fullest here and now.

What would life be without death? We would just sit around doing whatever we wanted without that uncertainty always chasing us, always making us go farther, and become more because we never know when we might loose what we have.

Ryuusei-Hi What would life be without death? We would just sit around doing whatever we wanted without that uncertainty always chasing us, always making us go farther, and become more because we never know when we might loose what we have. That's an interesting perspective. Death acts as a modivator for us to live life to its fullest is what you're saying? I'm sure it does sometimes, though it may not be literal death that modivates us but loss in general.

Death is neither good or bad, it just is, just like birth. It's good when someone is released from pain and it's bad when someone is killed, but death itself just is. Our bodies stop working, but the part of God in all of us continues on
