I'm the only one who is Vegan in my entire family and group of friends, I dont even have any vegetarian friends or family either.

I dont know any veg*tarians personally online either. So I'm very lonely.
Its hard not being able to share my experiences, or sympathize with other people like me when I dont know any.

How can I find other Vegs in my area?
I am a 19 year old, unable to drive at this time, part time job, part time college student.

check with your local vegetarian and vegan meetups.

and check your college. there's usually an animal rights group/vegetarian group somewhere on campus. if not, then start one! i did at my old high school and vegans, vegetarians, and the veg-curious came to my meetings. sometimes to cure the "lonely"s you have to take the initiative.

I can't exactly empathize since two of my very best friends are vegan and vegetarian. but if you cannot find ANYONE in ur area tht is a vegetarian, vegan, or even a Semi-/Half/Transitional/Social Vegetarian, i would suggest making some sort of group for vegetarians, or going to websites tht can help you find vegetarians/vegans. i hope i helped! (also, if u have some close friends tht rnt vegetarians, just omnivores, maybe even they can help u get through the lonleys by showing support if u tell them how u feel. who knows? maybe one of ur friends might even become a vegetarian one day) i can empathize for the family part however. im srry -hug-

You can also try venturing out to your local Hindu or Buddhist temples. Buddhism and many Hindu sects promote vegetarianism and at least where I am make up...I would guess at least 50% of the vegetarian population.
