http://metroid.com/primetrilogy/Quote: Metroidâ„¢ Prime 3: Corruption set a new standard for first-person motion controls in video games. Now it's bringing those controls to the rest of the celebrated series, allowing players to experience the entire Metroid Prime story arc with the peerless precision of the Wii Remote. Nintendo announces Metroid Prime Trilogy, a new premium three-game collection for the Wii console that bundles all three landmark Metroid Prime games onto one disc and revamps the first two installments with intuitive Wii Remote controls, wide-screen presentation and other enhancements. Metroid Prime Trilogy will be available exclusively for Wii on Aug. 24 at a suggested retail price of $49.99. Each game maintains its original storyline and settings, but now Metroid Prime and Metroid Prime 2: Echoes let players use their Wii Remote to aim with precision as heroine Samus Aran. Based on the breakthrough control system that debuted in Metroid Prime 3: Corruption, these new Wii controls bring an entirely new level of immersion and freedom to these milestone games. More information on Metroid Prime Trilogy to come. What do you think of this?

Well, I have Metroid Prime 3 and Metroid Prime, I doubt I'd want to play them all over again...but I might.
Sounds great though. Metroid = second favorite series after Metal Gear.

-The Gray Legend- Well, I have Metroid Prime 3 and Metroid Prime, I doubt I'd want to play them all over again...but I might. Sounds great though. Metroid = second favorite series after Metal Gear. I've played through Prime 1 a few times, and the others once each, but having Wii controls might be worth it, especially since I'd be getting all three for less than I would be willing to spend for each individually. I wonder...would your Prime 3 save data be accessible to the Trilogy disc? EDIT: um...has anyone looked at the screenshots? What is the enemy in the third shot? It's definitely from Prime 1, but I don't remember it...

Well guys, it turns out that my Metroid Prime 3 disc is screwed. I tried playing it, and when Samus tried to come out of the spaceship she showed as purple blocks, and then I got an error message. So now I'm pretty glad they're doing.

Bump...
Anywho, I was on edge for awhile, but the case sold me. I've been playing through from MP1, and it has been AWESOME 3nodding
I would also like to note that MP2 was AMAZING in terms of graphics. Maybe not as high res as 360 or PS3 (or newer PC games), but it sure has a lot going for it visually.

Yeah, I bought it as well, going through MP2 now. I love the gameplay, it's so nice to have more playroom for that control scheme. But it's kinda frustrating from time to time because they don't give many hints as to where you need to go. They could give you an item in, say, the Magma caves and then you'd hae to use it in some far-off corner in Shandrana. By the way, I notice there's no Wi-Fi bug on the box, and nothing on Wikipedia on its multiplayer. So..... anyone know how the MP2 multiplayer works now? I'd think splitscreen would be rather bad for a pointer-based game........
