Anagove Wellll, I don't think I need to go to Maury to prove it, but I will be taking him to court eventually. Probably sometime after he gets back from his Military training in Texas so like in... February, or March. Just when he thinks his life is going to even out and settle down, ha ha. And at the same time, I am wondering if it is worth it to even get that proof because then I'd have to let him see it. Even though he is the Daddy... I really don't want him influincing this child, you know? Not necessarily. If he's claiming it's not his then maybe he doesn't want to be responsible for the kid. You could receive child support and he just doesn't want to see the kid, or you could offer that he is still able to relinquish his parenting rights. I'm pretty sure if he relinquishes rights he doesn't have to pay child support but ALSO you don't have to let him see the kid ever. =) Talk to a lawyer about it if you're going to court over it, I suppose. I am pretty sure though that if he relinquishes his rights then you might qualify for welfare or something. -shrugs- I think you joined after I left and I happen to hate kids, but. You seem like a good person so I am happy for you~

Well, Q, I remember YOU. And basically, by not forcing him to get a paternity test I *am* letting him relinquish his rights because his name will not be on the birth certificiate so he will have no legal connection to it.
He just doesn't want to be named the father even though he is because he was trying to tell me that if I ordered a paternity test he was going to fight me for custody. It's a big mess.

oh god ick @ custody drama.
my mom (finally) got divorced and the custody thing was so shitty and kind of is still shitty and messy. If you can avoid it, do, especially if he's going to be a d**k about it longterm, because that s**t is stressful and not something you want to hassle with for the next 18 years.
AWESOME that you are pregnant though. biggrin
AND THAT YOU ARE BACK. I want to be able to be all UPDATE about everything that's happened to me since the last I talked to you so I will STALK YOU ON SKYPE AND AIM. :3

I've seen you being mentioned before, and you have always seemed nice. biggrin
So I'm glad to see that you're back, and...congrats! (I guess?)
The only sucky part seems to be custody. I doubt your child would like not to ever know who his/her father is.
