Semen is salty. The v****a gets tiny little tears during sex. So a little burning isn't too uncommon because you're basically putting salt in a wound! The dryer you are, the more you're going to tear. A lubricant can minimize the tears, so that might help if you don't already use one. You might want to check with an ob-gyn though just to make sure you don't have a vaginal infection. Vaginal infections can sometimes make the v****a more sensitive to that sort of thing.

I've only tried Astroglide so far. It's clear and odorless, never tried to see if it had a taste. I've tried a gel kind and more watery kind. The watery kind seemed to work really well, but that one was just a little free sample, so I only got to try it the one time. I bought the gel one, and it's ok, but it doesn't seem to be quite as good as the free sample watery one. But neither are greasy at all. You can apply it with your hand, then wipe it right off, nothing left behind. I think they're still giving out free samples on their website, so that might be something to look into.

Honestly I'd recommend going to a pharmacy or drug store over going to Spencers, but to each their own (not trying to slam your suggestion!). Most pharmacies and drug stores do carry flavoured lube as well as the regular stuff. 3nodding

Personally I've used KY Liquid and have had no problems with that. Sometimes it's burned if I'm really dry, but usually it works really well (although the heated kind did burn when used on me below the belt in the past). Right now I'm using a Pharmasave discount brand tueb of lube, which is water-based, but it gets sticky easily so I don't think I'll be using it again.
