She kisses him back, and purrs happily, holding her Chanda to her. "Artesia loves you as well, with everything she is and holds dear." She rests her head on his shoulder, her eyes bright and happy, purring to her mate and love.

Chanda rested her head against hers again. "Wouldn't mind staying like this for a while. I've missed it." His eyes closed and he let out a little contented sigh.

Artesia pulls her blanket up and over them both, snuggling in just as close as she can. "Mmmmm Artesia is happy to just sit with you." She nuzzles him and purrs more.

"Mmm...how about we take a nap and I'll tell you about my trip after." Chanda smiled and returned to rubbing her back lightly. "Since I'm a bit tired and I seem to have interrupted your nap when I came in."

Artesia purrs and nods, then snuggles down against him, her eyes closing. "Artesia likes that idea. Artesia wants to sleep with her love." She beams and pulls the blankets up.

Their nap lasted most of the day and into the evening, which made for a nice well spent lazy day. Chanda woke to find Artesia still sleeping, nestled against his chest. He stayed still to avoid waking her, only daring to slide up a hand to stroke her soft hair. "Love you 'tesia." The words were whispered softly.

She stirred some, but not didn't wake fully. She mumbled in her sleep "Mmmmm Chanda... Artesia loves you so.... let's dance with the swans...", sleep talking as logically as most do.

With the swans, hn? Chanda chuckled softly, wondering what she was dreaming about. He draped an arm around her gently, while his other hand continued to stroke her hair. The crocodile rested his head against hers, taking in the scent of her silken hair and sighing contentedly.

After awhile, she slowly awoke on her own, and her eyes fluttered open. She blinked at him, then said "OH! Oh good. Artesia was afraid your return was all a dream."

"I'm glad it wasn't." Chanda smiled. "Very glad." He turned his head, pressing his lips against hers softly. "I wouldn't want to see my kitten sad, even if it was just a dream." The crocodile caressed her cheek softly and settled back against the pillows after. "Still want to hear about my trip?"
