Isadora - C ((About Sue and her Noodles))

Isadora: Canas, what are you trying to feed her?

Canas: Erm. Oh Hi Isadora. Nothing. Nothing at all. She refuses to eat. According to 'Health and Wellness: The Importance of Food', That is bad for her.

Isadora: What is it that she refuses to eat?

Canas: Normal food.

Isadora: ..... So..... Are you saying that nomad diet are weird?

Canas: No not at all! But to refuse to eat all together means you do not get the nutrition you need, hence it would be detrimental to your body! How can one maintain efficiency without proper eating habits?

Isadora: But Canas, what if she's allergic to that specific food?

Canas: Well then, I have a restore staff.

Isadora: Or she could be lactose intolerance. Canas, that is not helpful.

Canas: Not that I could use it....

Isadora: No, I meant forcing people to eat of which they are allergic to.

Canas: Oh poo. according to my research, it is good to try new things.

Isadora: But to endanger them from food they allergic?! That's bad for their health.

Canas: True... Perhaps a little magic will fix it.... ~Attempts to use flux on noodles, which get destroyed~

Isadora: ...!

Canas: Hmmm....perhaps a little too much....~Tries to use a restore staff on noodles~

Isadora:...... Canas, I don't think food is the same as people and animal. Food don't have health...

Canas: Miss Isadora, you suggested that she was allergic to the food. so I attempted to use magic on it. It did not work as planned. It is only experimental.

Isadora: Canas!! You can't get rid of genetic!! You can heal the injuries and sickness. But something genetic is difficult to do so.

Canas: However, to state that such a thing cannot be done is unproven. I must see the other side. My curiosity pushes me ever deeper.
It will be my undoing.

Isadora:...... You and Domanova would make great friends.

Canas: Oh? I would love to meet this...Domanova.

Canas:
C
Canas: So now the evening sun shines fair on him,
In Sacae as he goes up from the plains... Oh! Forgive me, I did not notice you standing there!

Sue: You're... telling a story. You mentioned Sacae.... do you know one of my tribesman?
Canas: Oh! I was just thinking of a passage from the Book titled, "The Silver Wolf of Sacae. Wait....Do I know you?
Sue: The Silver Wolf... That's my grandpa! Dayan!
Canas: Oh so you are the daughter of...! I see! So you are the daughter of Rath. My it has been some time.
Sue: "Some time?" What do you mean? Were you one of Father's companions on his campaign with Lord Eliwood of Lycia?
Canas: Oh yes! With the villanous Nergal! and those creepy Morphs. I remember back then. I went to Visit the Kutolah Tribe not long after. Heard that Rath had a daughter, and I brought My own sone, Hugh. We almost got shot we did.
Sue: Oh, my! Arrows were sent your way? It must have been those robes. Druids... they're known to turn out like that Shadow, Nergal...
Canas: Yes. Lucky for us your father was nearby. He recognized us before we were ...ahem...physically damaged.
Sue: Father's always able to speak the tribesman so easily... he's such a wonderful chief... I hope one day to be like him, and to have you speak stories of me, sir...
Canas: But knowing him...Sue? Have you heard much about your father during that time when we fought with Nergal?
Sue: I heard many things, yes...
Canas: He always was a quiet man. How has he been?
Sue: He's been well... Nothing's been wrong in particular.
Canas: Well tell him hello for me. Lets talk again sometime. I need to get back to my studying.
Sue: Yes... but.. if I don't know your name, how must I know who told him hello?
Canas: Oh! Right! How rude. I am Canas.
Sue: It's a pleasure to meet you.

B
Canas: Miss Sue, may I ask for a moment of your time?
Sue: ... certainly... I'm available.
Canas: You said that one day, you wanted to be like your father. And certainly I see a part of you in him.
Sue: Ah, yes... but... I'm not nearly as skilled as he is. Look at how many times Eyris became under seige under my watch! If he were here...
Canas: Do not speak as such Miss Sue. I do not believe that your father would take kindly to hearing you say such things.
Sue: But it's true! He left me to protect everyone, and countless times, I've failed! Even with my sacred bow... and the Orion's bolt... it's still... never enough.
Canas: Sue...Do you really wish to be more like your father?
Sue: He's... strong, isn't he? More suited to be Chief... I mean Crew than I ever will be.
Canas: Sue, Listen well. Your people have pride. And none were more filled with pride then your father. He believed in himself. In who he was and what he stood for. Not only that, he did what he must. He never did wrong for he did only what he thought was right. Once you see this in yourself, then you will become more like he is.
Sue: ... what do beliefs mean when your enemy is so much more powerful?
Canas: To those of us that face overwhelming odds? Obstacles cannot crush you. Every obstacle yields to stern resolve. To be driven by external motives from the path which our heart approves, to give way to anything but conviction, to suffer the opinion of others to rule our choice and overpower our resolve is to submit to the enemy before you even try to achieve what people say cannot be done.
Sue: But.. Canas! Remember them! The morphs! Leander! The Darkened Guard! The Heroes! That all happned on MY Watch. And I did nothing!
Canas: I remember the morphs. I remember them at Dragons Gate. I remember Rath, standing tall and proud. No matter how many faced him, his destiny was before him. You too have a destiny Miss Sue. Your father believed in you. but it will come to nothing if you cannot believe in yourself.
Sue: But... it's so hard when all these terrible things have happened while he was away. Why did he leave me here? I'm not... I don't have his experience. I couldn't stop a single one of them.
Canas: You will learn. And as you forge your own path, the mistakes you have made will become your strength. Learn from them. Adapt and overcome. Do what you feel is needed, be yourself and keep the nomadic pride with you. No one can ask for anything else.
Sue: Even if.. I couldn't stop them?
Canas: Hmhm. I think that is enough for now. Think about it Miss Sue. When you find your own answer, come back and we can talk again.
Sue: ....... Find... my own answer? That's not so easy.

A
Canas: So...Sue.
Sue: Canas?
Canas: Have you found the answer that you were looking for?
Sue: I think so. It means finding my own strength, being as great as I can be. Following in anyone's footsteps sounds good, but I'd rather make my own.
Canas: ~Chuckles~
Sue: ... is that answer... wrong?
Canas: You remind me alot of a sworsman named Guy.
Sue: What about him? I've heard of him as being one of Sacae's only true swordsmen.
Canas: Guy reminds me of you very much...Strong... yet elegant in his Weaponry. It was always knowh to him that he had a purpose.
Sue: Yes, and when I fight, I'll find mine too. I know we can't be perfect, but I'll still fight. I'll still protect my comrades, no matter what... and I'll do so my own way.
Canas: Let me finish the story Sue. ~Grins~ Three years prior to Eliwood's journey, Guy left Sacae on a journey to become the greatest sword wielder. However, how he would get there and his path to fame was unknown to him. Little did he know that a small time thief would change his life.
Sue: How so..?
Canas: Alone and hungry, He met Matthew, a spy for Ostia, but really desguised as nothing more then the prestated thief, who gave him food to live and used the Sacean Pride against Guy to ask for favors whenever the need arose. Guy agreed and he was given food. Later on guy was peniless again.
Sue: Did his new friend... help him?
Canas: Ah. Only by chance. As you know, no offence to the Sacean people, Guy liked to work alone. But that was when he met Lord Eliwood. And matthew again, who in the course of meeting, asked him the favor of his aid.
Sue: I see...So he learned that he couldn't do everything alone.
Canas: No. He had to have help, as huch as he didn't want to ask. And now we know him as the Saint of Swords.
Sue: So greatness comes... with yourself and others. I see. Now I think I do understand... I will be a defender of Learania, if only I stand beside everyone. That way, I can walk the path together with the others.
Canas: You have found the road that you wish to follow Sue. Now follow it. Your father, and Guy, both knew that even though much can be accomplished by pride and your inner strength, but you cannot walk the path alone. I, and the others around you will always be at your side to help.
