Franz stepped off the bus and into the neon lights of the city, the entire place was... off. For him it was like there was something in the back of his mind reminding him this was not how a city was supposed to be. He stepped over a homeless man dropping the rest of the pennies he had in the man's cup making his way to his new "job" They were called "runners" he had no idea what that was, all they'd told him was they did freelance work and needed a strong back to help them. So he'd taken the offer, he needed the money anyways

Things went bad fast, unfimilar with the twisting sidestreets he found himself at a dead end. As he sighed and turned around hew found the way blocked by strange characters. Their faces covered in clown masks many brandishing blades or clubs with nasty rusty scrap sticking out of them. He simply sighed "I don't have anything worth mugging me for, you're waisting your..." They didn't listen, they charged laughing like mad men. He soon found himself completely surrounded. "Jesta wantz ter speak wit U" came a voice from the back, it was a mutant, a human hyena hybrid. One of the others, a large clown, the one holding his leash, smacked him. "What about "tell him nothing" didn't you get dipp[cencored]?" Rubbing his forehead the clown looked up "take the horse." Violence was not in his nature, but Franz could do so when neccary. He drove his boot into one of their faces, threw another across the alley, he tossed and pounded them. He had the muscle to drag a harvester across a mile of ground, his punches broke bones. He snapped one of their arms, headbutted another, they were too many. He grabbed a dumpster and tossed it at them to cover his escape. Then up the fire escape the clowns on his heels. Once at the top he tore the escape from the wall, sending the gangmembers to the ground. Sirens in the distance meant the police were on their way, the clowns quickly scattered.
Franz headed towards his first job. He'd have to be careful in the future.
