Have you ever seen a bass clarinet?
Did you know that the alto saxophone weighs more?
Its so crazy i mean my friend plays bass clarinet and once i saw it im like woahhhh....that must be heavy.
It is actually very light...
weird....just had to tell someone.
but i love my sax even tho its heavierxD
smile i'm sure it depends on the material, having played both bass clarinet and alto sax, i know that they are about the same. which is understandable, seeing as the alto is all metal and the bass clarinets i've used have been all plastic. but a cheap alto and an expensive wood bass clarinet compared, i'd have to say bass clarinet would PROBABLY be heavier, if the sax was made with thin metal
