So, I went to Anime North yesterday with my brother and mom (o3o ; Left at like 7AM .) The line was really fast this year, which was awesome. I didn't cosplay this year because we didn't get my Kairi cosplay done in time. T.T We brought the baby, too, and everyone stared a us and cooed at the baby because no one else dares to take a baby to an anime convention. Even if I had cosplayed, the attention would still all be on the baby. razz
It was pretty lame. Believe me, I am NEVER going with mom or my brother again. Gawd are they embarassing to be with in public. ._. Mom asked who every other cosplayer was supposed to be, excpecting me to know, and Tristan (My brother) was constantly dancing and doing 'karate' moves, and whenever I told him to stop he said 'your not the boss of me' and continued. He also picked his nose alot, which is DISGUSTING, thinking no one would see.
All we did was walk around outside and visit the dealer's room and artists alley a few times. We couldn't go to any panels because it involved climing alot of stairs, which was almost impossible with the baby's stroller.
Speaking of the baby's stroller, OMG, every door I had to hold open for it I had to hold for 50 people. It was a nightmare. D:
We didn't buy anything in the AA, but we spent 120 $ in the dealers room.. I only spent 30$, while Tristan spent the rest. : I don't see any fairness in him buying five 15$ Mario toys while I got 2 dolls and a poster. Oh, and pocky of course. I was gonna get Josh and Meg something, but everything was really overpriced. Small dolls I got for 5$ last year were 15$ this year. Sorry, guys. D:
I missed autographs and the Gaia meet too, but I wasn't going to go to the Gaia meet anyways. And I met up with my friend Courtney whom I hadn't seen in years, then 2 minutes later Simon came to take us home.. : It was only 2:45 PM. This Anime North was such a bummer.
On the bright side, I did get to see the Conventioneers. I didn't get a chance to talk to them, but it was funny watching them get kicked off not only the con property, but also the sidewalk. XD
