i have a limited edition of isis' the red sea, with extra tracks and... i guess printed is the word... on blue/red vinyl. i managed to find it hidden way in the back of a record store. i can't remember what they said it was limited to, but i think it might have been 1000 copies. i got a great deal on it, too.

Some of my favorite vinyls are the Death SS - Black Mass pic. LP and the Master's Hammer 4LP set, BEAUTIFUL packaging, man, I love it.

The only album I know of that I'd want is Lord Kaos' EP, of which name escapes me and I'm capped so I can't google it without waiting an hour. :c
But yeah, only copy I could find was 80$. :/

Hmmmnn...well, the first one that comes to mind is the original 1997 recording of October Tide's "Rain Without End" CD, an import limited to 1000 copies. I haven't even seen a copy on sale at any of my usual haunts. It's since been remastered and reissued this year, a version which obviously commands far less of a price.
New copies of A Canorous Quintet's "Silence of the World Beyond" CD from 1995 run from 75 dollars up on Amazon. Used copies are a bit more reasonable, 35-50 bucks. I might get me one of these.
As a general rule of thumb, though, just about any original releases of a well-known band's early EPs/LPs, demos especially, are pricey.
