Details

Going across the midpoint of Muranthia, the continent stretches about 1200 miles wide.

The northern areas of the continent are fairly cool. Summers generally get to a high of 70 degrees Farenheight whereas its winters generally reach a low of -5 degrees. Blizzards happen now and then during the winter. As you go south, the weather becomes warmer. The southernmost areas of Muranthia can get fairly humid and stay relatively warm all year round. Hurricanes are prone to happening in the southwest regions. These bits aside, there isn't a whole lot of variations in climate while going across latitudes.

Akarmen Territory

Lufen Island: This northern isle remains cool throughout the year. The warmest it gets at any time is roughly 50 degrees. Snow is often present here, but it doesn’t storm very often.

Zanz Valley: A rather large valley nestled within the Arock’s west side. There, the elevation goes a little below sealevel, and the climate tends to be a bit temperate. The mountains on the west side of the valley are safer to cross than that on the east side, where there tends to be more cliffaces into the valley.

Tunac: Grasslands that lay southeast of the city of Akarmen. The temperature gets fairly warm during the summer and it becomes cool enough to snow some during the winter. Tornadoes are a bit of a good possibility during the spring in this area.

Pelu Swamp: A swamp that might not seem much on the outside but is rich with all sorts of wildlife. Though, it can be a bit of a dangerous place to those not familiar with the land as it can be fairly easy to get lost there. It's known for growing a special fungi used for medicinal purposes.

Seren Forest: Forest just east of the Pelu swamp. It's a quaint forest filled with elderly trees that tend to send a sense of awe to those first visiting the place. These trees seem to channel some sort of magic, but no one has ever really been able to pinpoint what it is exactly. Because of this, wood from Seren Forest is highly sought after. The wood elves of Akarmen value this forest greatly and highly detest at the thought of using any lumber from there (lest the tree had already fallen on its own)

Dalun: One of the branches of the Yiang river on the southern end of the continent. visibility in the water is rather decent.

Duskii: Another branch south of Dalun. Waters here are murkier than its northern counterpart. But the banks are rather fertile and have a good amount of healthy vegetation growing nearby.

Limeil lake: The largest lake in Muranthia. It lies in the north and its waters are cool all year round. In times of drought, the lake hardly shrinks.

Wenpor lake: A lake south of the Tunac Plains and north of the Seren forest. All sorts of wildlife can be found living in or around this area, making it fairly popular for hunters to visit.

Kutyr Territory

Hoton Woods: A forest on the north side of the Lyrta river. The population of avians here is greater and more diverse than anywhere else in Muranthia. People often come here to listen to the various songs and calls of the birds.

Lyrta River: A narrow river that separates the Hoton Woods and the Mendoz Plains. Its water are normally rather clear, and over all it is not much of a violent river. However, it does tend to flood a bit when heavy rains come.

Mendoz Plains: A fertile grassland that tends to have numerous storms throughout the year. Enough where there are hardly any dry spells, but not so much where the soil would be flooded most of the time. Even on sunny days, the sounds of thunder may be heard in the distance.

Mutk Swamp: A swamp on the southwestern area of Kutyr's territory. The soil here has a hint of crimson within it, as the swamp has had a rather dark bloody history. It would be wise to stay out of this swamp unless with a guide or if you were well versed with its layout and such.

Annack Isles: A small cluster of islands that acts as the southeastern most regions of the continent. Mostly the main island is populated, but a village here and there are found in the smaller ones nearby. Those born and raised in the Annack Isles are often praised for being remarkable seamen. Symbols and totems of Mizaru are a common find here as well.

Artk A lake that lies right on the border of the Mendoz Plains, fed by one of the tributaries of the Lyrta river. It's a rather popular fishing spot amongst the Kutyrins.

Zuim lake: Another lake further south of Artk. Waters here are calm and pristine, giving the lake highly reflective properties. It is rare that nature itself will disturb the water, as well as the images it holds.

Semtai range A small set of gentle mountains in the south. The highest peaks here are half the size of that of the Arock mountains. It is also much less treacherous overall.

Both

Arock Mountains: These mountains reach to an elevation of 28546 feet at the most. The southern mountains are generally smaller than the ones further north. The northern half of the mountains are very hazardous and should be crossed with caution. The region where the mountain reaches the sea are all jagged cliffs. Somewhere around the mountains is where Nakadrak is supposed to be.

Varsht Desert: Varsht Desert has a number of sandy dunes with few vegetation scattered about. Temperatures here can easily get to over 100 degrees Farenheight during the day and may go below zero at night. During the rainy season, the edges of the desert may become a bit more lush and more hospitable, but the heart always remains a treacherous place year round.

Yiang River: The longest river in the continent. It starts off within the Arock Mountains and goes all way into the ocean at the southern end of the continent. There are numerous rapids as it leaves the mountains, but it grows steadier as it heads south. The river is about 1.5 miles at its widest.

Venten - o - City in the north eastern areas of the continent. Its known to contain some shady businesses running through the streets.
Ocelo - x - A town on the northeast side of Muranthia. Goblins, orcs, and dwarves make up the majority of this town, though they are known for fine craftsmenship. However, raw materials are sometime low in supply, seeing how they aren't exactly close to the mountains.

Askin - ^ - A town just on the edge of the border. People here don't always agree with one another, as this town has shifted sides over time.
Moteir - ^ - One of the two towns on the Annack Isles. They usually are in charge of any ferrys to the isle.
Fairo - ^ - South of Moteir and sometimes considered to be the 'little brother' of the other town. This place focuses more on fishing, rather than tourists however.
