If you've been to the Lionel Hampton Jazz Festival you know that it rocks! I joined junior Jazz band this year, so it was my first time going. This was easily the most fun i've ever had! Late night concerts, Workshops, sharing a room with friends and even playing truth or dare on the bus ride. (12 hours D=) All of it was awesome. Do you have any fun stories about your experiences involving jazz-Bandy coolness? Share them!

Awwwwww good ole Lionel Hampton Jazz Festival! Lots of great memories! I actually had the pleasure of watching Lionel Hampton perform before he passed away. My band even placed as runner up (before i joined sweatdrop ) Usually the schools from my state make a killing at that festival.

That's awesome, I wish I could have seen him perform. My favorite musician this year was Bobby Mcferrin. Everyone in my class was so pumped after that concert, and the hotel people got mad at us for making too much noise.

It was my first time at the Lionel Hampton Jazz Festival. i learned a lot from it and got some really good tips on how to improve my playing, i even got to get Wally Gators CD. It was an experience that i will never forget (neither will the ride home but thats a completely different story! xd )
