Evanger: -Stretching out, a large blue blob laid almost silently against the bank of the shore. It had been a long day, but with the sun tanning his fur he almost felt at peace. What a wonderful day...-

Zal found himself floating about on the tides of the open sea, he wasn't particularly close to the shore. In fact he rarely was, the shore meant land and their was only one thing in land that interested him these days, and that was his old family. Not that he particularly expected a warm greeting from them, it had been quite a while since he left and his former self wasn't half as spectacular as he was now, but if the waves should take him that way then so be it, he had no reason to fight the cause of the water.

Evanger continued to lay around, his tail flicking back and forth against the surface of the waves as his eyes were completely closed. He had no longing to move from his position the sun felt wonderful against his fur, the warmth that the water could never provide... And then... then... the slow grumble of his stomach. It was enough to make Evanger growl. Sighing, his eyes flipped ajar just as a wave hit his tail... to eat or not eat... such horrible questions. Leaping up from his position, Evanger slowly dove with a large splash into the blue liquid.

It was the perfect balance for Zal, the vibrant sun beaming on his belly side up and the cool release of the water below on his back, to each an extreme but combined, perfection of nature. Lucky enough for him it kept his temperature stable at a suitable level, not that he cared much, he was enjoying it and simply for what it was, a lazy sun bath on the surface. Even the brief disturbance in the waves wasn't enough to make him move, it was far enough away to not effect him and that was fine.

Evanger skid completely under the water, his stomach rumbling at the sight of many fishes that tried to swim away once his presence was known. He grinned because he knew he was much too fast for them. Shifting his finned tail like a rudder, he bolted like a bullet as two fish at once were now snapped in his jaw. Being completely unaware, just as he began to come up for air he felt his whole body hit something above him...

Not a care in the world, not today, nope he could just lie here and draw in the suns on his fins all day long. He ignored the waves increase in their intensity, he ignored the way his body was now swaying and moving up and down on the surface, not a care in the...
Thud.
Something hit his back, he wasn't angry, nor particularly surprised he knew something had been coming in his direction, but had happily assumed it was a large fish prepared to go right on past him without even taking note of his existence. As the thud sent him into the air slightly he flipped himself over so his face would land down in the water, peering about to see the cause of the disturbance.

Gods damn it! Whatever Evanger had hit caused the two fish in his mouth to knock loose, one managed to swim away, though he was lucky enough that the other was on the brink of death and he was able to scoop it back up. Narrowing eyes, his head moved upward to see what caused it, his eyes widening only slightly to see another water lion like himself. "...." He hoped he wasn't in someone else's territory, he really didn't want to fight, not today.

Well lookie that. A grin tugged on the edge of Zal's maw and grew magnificent into a full blow facial smirk. There hadn't been many others like him, he'd met a few during his transformation but after he'd taken off for some him musing time it had been pretty barren as far as waters go. Part of the reason he'd not seen much point in moving, the land lions rarely caught glance of him and even if they had the water was his reign now, any land lion silly enough to start anything would surely fail to his advantages in the sea.
So here was another male water attuned lion like himself, what a site, it made him proud of what he was and there was no anger for the small collision considering another hadn't swiftly followed. It obviously wasn't an attack, probably just an accident, those happened and hey on the plus side it wasn't another dopy fish with the brain capacity of a pea. "Yo" His maw formed the letters and bubbles floated from his mouth.

Evanger took a swim back, glaring at the male for a matter of moments while chewing on the last of his fish. All the other fish had swam away. "You made me lose my lunch." He stated accusingly though he knew full well it had been his fault.

Floating on his stomach Zal kept his expression exactly the same even after the accusation, what a laugh that was. "You made my back tickle." He stated in his own off the shoulder kind of way, a twitch at the corner of his smirk, his tail skimming up above the surface calmly.

"Tickle?" Evanger scrunched up his nose as he flicked the last of his lunch out of his teeth. "Strange one you are.." He pulled his head above the water, letting his tail flick behind him to keep him afloat. "Is this your territory? I'm not use to seeing those like me around here..."

Shifting his own weight Zal brought his head above the water just as the other male had, swaying his feet gently under the water still keeping his tails pace, only now also under the water like his waist down. "So I thought, It's good to have confirmation." Nodding he stretched his eyebrows up then brought them down to rest again as they had been in a mere seconds worth of gesture. "Territory? I doubt it." He snickered, the thought of him picking one place and sticking to it made him laugh and almost rolled his eyes. "We're a rare site apparently or so say the fishies" He winked playfully, he was having fun with this, he wasn't crazy, no he just knew how to have fun and also how to be serious but that was only when needed. The rest of the time he spend quite contently being himself, and his own lion and amusing himself and others whenever possible.

Ai smiled happily as her blue form breached the surface of the water her tail creating the thrust to get her into the air above for only a moment before gravity pulled her back down she dove back into the blue seas swimming in circles around her friend another water Lion named Kenna.
Kenna watched Ai play happily in the water. "You seem oddly more cheerful than usual today." the light blue femme commented keeping a steady eye on her friend circling her.
Pausing in front of Kenna Ai nodded "I seem to be!" Ai agreed with a laugh “But maybe it's just the sun maybe it's just brighter today!"
Kenna couldn't help but smile at Ai's simple answer. "Let's head toward Shore." Kenna suggested "Maybe we'll meet some of the land lions." Hopefully there would be some around considering there was hardly ever any of their own kind around and Ai was always enjoyed meeting other Lions.
Ai nodded swimming forward but circling happily until it made her a little dizzy. She laughed and continued swimming though this time straight after hearing Kenna laugh a little behind her.
