Due to me losing 2.7m in the MP I now am saving up for another classic and expensive MC as an investment item.

I am now hoarding Ancient Katanas as a stepping stone. Very classic and they have a relatively high pulse rate in the MP for their price.

I see the Horns of the Demon deflating due to the popular Wed to Darkness CS item. Should I invest in the Horns again or choose a more stable classic MC? Your Opinions?

What do you guys invest in? How do you do it?

My longer term Gaian investments are mostly accidents: I bought them to sell quickly, but then the bottom fell out of the market for them. By the time the price rose to where I needed it to be again, I didn't need the gold, so I let it ride. And my, it did ride. Still is.

I don't keep track of the Horns of the Demon, but if it's been pretty solid prior to this, I would tend to look at the current price anomaly as a sale. Because while yes, the Wed To Darkness item is taking some of the price pressure off them for now, they will never have the cachet that the Horns do.

It reminds me of last fall when they busted a lot of gold botters at the same time everyone went back to school and the prices of everything fell by HUGE amounts. I picked up some extra classic items during the sale - every single one of which is now selling for at least twice what I paid for it.

My question for long term investing always comes down to: are they making any more of the item? If they are or they can, then I consider it a short-term investment only because you are at the whims of the powers that be.
