I was nervous about adopting Gabriel, I admit. I could only imagine what could possibly be running through his mind. Both parents deceased, and abandoned twice by adoptive parents. Anyone would be a mess.
But, as I watched him sleep, holding his stephoscope in his hand (what a strange toy, I shall have to ask him about it later.) My heart went out to him.
I just hope my heart is right...

Is there something wrong with me? There must be. Ive been abandonded twice now. Am I strange? Maybe Im just not good enough to be loved....
This new person, Lunel, has taken me home, and promises to care for me, but what if just another empty promise?....
