Jady turned around and blinked. So perhaps that was what it was. They were waiting to ambush her? She stared at the other dog for a moment. He seemed like the kind that was... she didn't know... gullible? Oh well. "Hey there, salutations, g'day and all that!" She replied, her tail swaying gently.

He sat down in the slighly squishy ground, his tail still swishing behind him. "Yes...what you said," he replied, looking her over. "Those're some interesting markings on your fur," he pointed out. "Oh, my name's Lucky." He felt quite the spontaneous mutt today.

She grinned at the mention of the iridescent gold, weaving through her jet-black fur like genuine gold tips. "Thanks. I'm Jady." She added. "I love your spots."

His tail wagged. Oh yeah, chicks dig the spots, he thought with a grin. "Thanks. Nice to meet you, Jady. Why Jady, though? It doesn't seem to fit, I think." He cocked his head to one side. He wasn't the type to think before speaking, apparently.

"I really don't know," She said thoughtfully. "I mean, I guess my owner just tried to make it sound simple. If it'd been something after my fur, it might've ended up as something that sounded really girly. And I know I'd hate that name. If it was something that made me sound like a dog that wears a bow on her head all the time..." She rolled her eyes at the thought, grinning.

"Yeah," he replied with a nod of agreement. "You certainly don't strike me as the bow-wearing type." He laughed softly, imagining her fluffed up like a poodle, all decked out in bows and stinky perfume. He shuddered. What a scary thought.

She laughed. "I'd hope I didn't!" She exclaimed. "So, what's your story?" She was curious to know how all dogs got here. Most of them were from where she'd come from, but it was still interesting, no matter how many times she heard the word 'G.H.S.'

"I don't know. I was born in some place people call a 'gee aych ess,' and I never met my parents before I went to my human. Not that I'd want to, it's really not of much interest to me. What about you?" He cocked his head to one side.

"The 'gee aych-'... Oh! Well, I wasn't born there. My parents were these really fancy purebred dogs. My owners couldn't sell me off like the other puppies, so I lived with them. But once, I ran off, and this man who found me wanted money. So they realized they couldn't really keep me in their fancy house, so I was sent to the Society. It wasn't really long before my human took me home. Now, I live with this other puppy who looks a lot like the opposite of me in color and never stops talking!" She explained. It was confusing, even to her, and hard to tell properly.
((Edit: Uh oh... Chinese lesson in... 12 minutes! Argh! I hate how punctual the stupid tutor is! gonk
Looks like I'll have to go change before the lesson. This sucks. Right after lesson, I have lunch, and right after lunch, I have to leave for my riding lesson... Hm... I'll try to get on after lunch.
I'll ttyl~))

"...Oh." That was all he could say, really. Just 'oh'. Her story confused him greatly, but he nodded and smiled to make it seem as if he understood. "Well, that's an...interesting story, indeed!" To say the least.
[It's alright. Have fun~]

"You understood?" Jady asked, surprised. "Most dogs get confused, and I'm not the best describer either. But you can tell me if it doesn't make sense. It normally doesn't." She shrugged.

"Err...yeah. Yeah, I understood," he said, nodding slowly. "I mean, really, who wouldn't understand?" He looked at her very matter-of-factly.

"Well, I guess... It is confusing, though." She said thoughtfully. "So, what are you doing here?"
