EDITED:I found this and think its too cool! http://www.go-girl.com/The purpose is to make urinating while standing easier. It comes in a plastic tube, so that when you use it, fold it up and stick it in the tube and put the tube in your bag. Then wash them and dry them when you get to a sink. Examples of when to use this would be....in a nasty toliet, or when you dont have a toliet available (in the woods, at a concert, etc) It fits inside the labias, so that there is no urine leakage. Its made from medical grade silicone (like a menstrual cup) and is washable. Im probably going to order one, since they're only $6 Do any of you own one? Where do you think you could use it?

Neat. The site says you can throw it away or rinse and reuse. Well, I hate the thought of all that extra garbage if people use them once and throw them away! But at the same time, rinsing them out in some public bathrooms could be awkward. I guess if it's the kind where you have one toilet, one sink, and complete privacy, that'd be fine. But if it's the kind with stalls, and then you have to come out to wash your hands, then bleh. I would not want to throw it away, I would not want to rinse it in front of people, and I would not want to put it in my purse with pee on it. xp I'd be willing to try one out if I had a private sink, but I don't really see myself using them more than a couple times. I don't like spending much money, I would not want to use it in most bathrooms around here, I almost never use public bathrooms anymore anyway, I don't mind sitting right on the toilet seat, I don't see a need for it, and I'd be afraid pee would overflow and spill on my pants or something. xp

Oooh, good point, good point. That is a good point...but there would be some leakage right? And the gogirl comes with a plastic tube to put it in, so that when you get home you can just wash htem both, dry them and stick it in your bag :3

ummm, I tend to go behind a bush or something... If I'm camping, skiing etc. If it's a nasty public bathroom, I hover above the toilet.

Crazy Cat Reincarnated ummm, I tend to go behind a bush or something... If I'm camping, skiing etc. That's what I was thinking. I mean, I don't ever pee outside, so I can't speak from experience, but yeah, can't you just squat? xp

People buy them people use them, if you dont like it - dont worry about it. I do a lot of outside activities, i dont like squatting.

At first I was thinking it was pretty neat, then the more I thought about it the more I thought it doesn't fit into my life. Sheesh...

There's various devices to allow a girl to pee standing up. Even novelty anatomically correct ones. (cutely called a Shenis http://shenis.com/ don't click if you blush easily) There used to be a website detailing how to pee while standing up (without using any sort of device) but I can't seem to find it. I could see it being very useful for the camping set. Peeing behind fallen trees/bushes is a constant nerve-wrecking experience with fears of being discovered with your bum exposed. redface
