What's it even about? I haven't had the time to pick it up yet unfortunately and I'm still horribly curious.

MordSith Cara92 okay... so has anyone started reading the law of nines? or finished with it for that matter? I am on chapter 11, and i am completely confused, im also getting a little irritated. wtf? I finished reading it. It's kind of a mix-up of a lot of characters and events from the entire Sword of Truth series. You see a lot of similarities between the main characters and stuff. Even the thing with the Taser kind of emulates Richard's Mord Sith training (not exactly, but that's the impression I got). Call me crazy, but I liked it. The only thing that really bugged me was the ending. It was kind of too simple. And they never fully explain the Law of Nines. A problem a lot of people might have is the fact that you have to infer a lot of stuff. Like, there's hints that Jaz is a Confessor, but it's never fully confirmed. In the beginning, too, it's taken for granted that you know there's another world linked to the one in the story.

So it is actually linked to the world of SoT? Yup. I enjoyed the story, couldn't put it down. I agree with everything darkred said. Jax being a confessor and her last name kinda irritated me. The whole story kinda seemed like a modern day version of Richard and Kahlan.
