What are your favorite Book of Mormon stories? Mine is when Moroni is fighting the Lamanites and he keeps making fools out of them. (Alma 50 something. I think 52-54.)

lol, yeah my old institute teacher made a joke about that, "It's not the fear, it's the exceeding happiness that you have to worry about!"
Any whoo... I just love the whole book of Alma. Especially when they all become missionaries, and the war chapters, and the conversion of Alma. I also like 3rd Nephi, but it's somewhat depressing, because in the begining they are bad, then they have to fight against the Gadienton(sp) robbers, so they are ritious(sp), then like 8 years later they're back at square one! Then Jesus comes and it's all good again...

It's not exactly a "story" but my favorite chapter is Enos 1 (yeah, I know there is only one chapter) He just appears to be so much like every one. He talks about how he had sinned and realizes he needs help from God. Then through his faith, great things were accomplished. Yeah, that's my favorite.

i like in i think mosiah 13 where the men were leaving the city, and the women and children were preaparing for an attack from the lamanites, and the lamanites attacked, realized they were attacking the young women, and stopped because of the beauty of thier fine young women. can you imagine what that would looke like? i mean, i have meant to draw that as a comic, but thats just cool.

I like how the Anti-Nephi-Lehies refuse to bring up arms against their bretheren and are slain and then the Lamanites see that their enemyu will not fight and they are touched and many become converted.

I was discussing the part in Mosiah about King Noah and Limhi in Seminary today and I realized how interesting it was.

My absolute favorite part of the Book of Mormon is where Jesus Christ comes to the Americas and begins to teach. I love anything to do with the savior, really, any part of both books.

My favorite's in the first part of 3Nephi when those believing in christ are about to be killed unless a sign is given that day, and the sun goes dow that night without it going dark. I love it because it shows that God plans ahead for us, and that there are no coincidences, just divine timing. It makes me feel so loved!

Now that I am actually reading reading the Book of Mormon, I found out all the cool stories that I didn't know about. For example, When Nephi and his brother Lehi are in prison and they get surrounded by fire and the prison is destroyed. Or when the children are surrounded by fire when Jesus visited the Americas.
