Once word of the Tournament had reached the ears of King Yama he told his son, Kurama, to get his best Spirit Detectives to get down to the Outcast Spirit World and try to turn the tide so one of the 'respectable' demons, that was chosen by Yama and Kurama, would win. Yusuke and his crew were on a separate mission and couldn't help at the moment. Kurama had no choice but to send in the replacements, *insert names here later*.

Several Demons made their way to the tournament grounds to sign up for the tournament. They had varying reasons to join the tournament. Some for greed, some for power, few for benevolent reasons. Who will win?

Some spiritually powerful humans heard about the tournament and wanted to join for several reasons of their own. Power, to prove strength, hoping to become a demon, some just wanted death.
