Mitchell Henderson shot himself in the face because some kid stole his iPod. He was the original 'an hero'.
And now I know where and why an hero is being said.
About friggin time.
Some twit wrote a poem about him on his MySpace and how 'he was such an hero'.
Apparently lots of his friends called him an hero.
And an friend, an brother, etc etc.
In any place where just an 'A' would come before a word there was an 'An'. Except for you know, the words that actually require an 'an' before them.
I suppose he would be a hero, if he was the typical Japanese soldier in WWII.
