Ciaran: Pads about through brush, tail flicking to and fro behind him as a wide grin forms.
Lai Min: *prowls through, licking blood from her chops from the meal she just finished*
Ciaran: Spots a lioness nearby. He approaches her, fangs glinting in the sun as he grinned. "Why hello there." The words, intended to be nice came out darker.
Lai Min: *purses her lips at the less-than-kind words, and turns her head slightly so her green glowing eye is turned fully to him* "Hello," she said very curtly.
Ciaran: "What would a lovely lioness like yourself be doing in a place like this?" He moved closer, watching her glowing green eye. It interested him somehow.
Lai Min: *licks some more blood from her lips with a deliberate, loud smack of her tongue* "Finishing a casual hunt and a hearty meal. Yourself?"
Ciaran: "I'm simply wandering about..." He finally reached her, though keeping space...for now. "What is your name? Mine is Ciaran" Small dark eyes seemed to glow.
Lai Min: *examines his carefully now that's he's nearer to her* "We are named Lai Min, and you are currently speaking with Min."
Ciaran: Leans in to inspect her eyes. They were two different colors. "I see...you have two spirits inside one body. That is very interesting." He began circling Lai Min, taking notes on her markings. "Beautiful markings..."
Lai Min: "Very keen, I see." *shifts a bit, the dragon and phoenix dancing across her shifting muscles*
Ciaran: Grins as he takes a step closer, prepared to move should she take a swing at him. "So, why travel alone?"
Lai Min: *tenses, but holds her ground, careful not to show her defensive readiness* "Why travel with others? A similar question, though with very different answers for some. Simply: We prefer it."
Ciaran: Takes another few steps closer, his grin becoming darker by the second. "Ah, I see. There are advantages to traveling alone. I suppose..." Venom dripped from his words, his eyes showing nothing kind in the way he moved closer.
Lai Min: *raises a brow after if innocently skeptical, but keeping herself fully aware the whole time* "I suppose there are, as there are for traveling in a group."
Ciaran: Walks past her, his tail feathers batting her side a tad hard, though not hard enough to hurt her. He wanted to see how far he could push before this level-headed lioness lost her temper. It was a fun game to him. "I prefer wandering about...watching over others..."
Lai Min: *licks her lips at her side be thwacked, but remains calm - losing herself to Anger could easily result in her death* "Watching over them, or simply watching them?"
Ciaran: "Simply watching them. To watch over anything...that is not something I would do..." He circles again, tail feathers hitting harder this time. Her calmness was starting to annoy him. "If there is no fighting, I move on or...help a fight to start..."
Lai Min: *sneers at his final comment, even her orange eyes sparkling with a given opportunity to annoy him even more than she could tell he was getting* "I've noticed that, but a fight here is not something you will find. I've learned to keep my wits about me to prevent unnecessary killing... Blood is so hard to get out of fur..."
Ciaran: "You don't like blood on your precious fur eh?" He moved his paw up and unsheathed a single claw, then quickly slashed her chest lightly, just enough to draw a little blood. If she would not get angry, he would simply enjoy marring her much loved fur. "s**t happens..."
Lai Min: *looks down at her chest, and licks the blood* "I meant yours." *moves close to him and puts her face right in his with a pseudo-sweet smile on her face, then unsheathes one paw of claws and draws them lightly across his chin toward her before stepping back and licking the blood form her claws*
Ciaran: Chuckles a bit as she draws some of his blood. Pain was not something that bothered him. He rather enjoyed it actually. "Drawing my blood does not bother me M'dear..." With a grin, he unsheathes his claws and draws her chin close to his, one claw digging into the skin of her neck. "We can play this game...I don't mind."
Lai Min: *pulls herself free, not even wincing at the pain* "Those who get pleasure from pain are lacking a certain stability in their mind..." *licks the blood from her paw very deliberately, having established a slight distance in the process* "What instability might this be..." He voice drawled out, her words not accusing or even interested, but perhaps... provoking?

Ciaran moved closer, only to walk around her again. His tail snapped up under her chin as he did so. Perhaps this would be eventful after all. Though...this meeting had been very interesting from the start...
"Does there exist a lion that is completally stable? To all of those that are unstable, would not a lion that is stable appear unstable to them?" As he spoke, he unsheathed his claws and drug them along her side, messing up the fur with the tattoos on it.

Lai Min's lids appeared to be heavy as his claws grazed her side - she knew that none of this would scar... Though if they did, Lai would throw a fit when she awoke.
"Well, now, there is a difference between inwardly stable and outwardly stable," she commented in her low, smooth voice. As he rounded about her, she unsheathed her claws and dragged them across his chest as he walked, still not digging deep, but deep enough to bleed.

Ciaran watched as the lionesses eye lids lowered. That look caused him to grin more. As her claw drug across his chest, he looked at her, moving closer as he bit her neck until he could taste her blood.
He pulled back and licked the wound, dark eyes locked on hers. "Aye, there is..."

While he was close to her, she took the opportunity to gt in close to his face again, taking one of her paws up to his nose, unsheathing her claws and pulling them from about the middle of his nose ridge toward her and down his nose. She she finished, she gave a sly smile, "Well, then, which do you think you are?" she asked quietly, licking the blood from his nose.

A soft yet low growl left him as her claws broke the skin of his nose. It did not hurt, but rather brought on a new feeling. New to him at least. "Perhaps both...maybe neither..."
He bit down on one of her ear flakes, then moved around her again, lightly dragging his tongue over the scrapes he'd left earlier. His fangs dug in a bit, creating more.

When he circled around her again, she caught his tail in her mouth right below the tail feathers. She bit down, firmly, but not harder than to just let the tips of her fangs sink in. "I see...." she replied, licking the little bit of blood from her teeth. "Finding out could prove... interesting... for you."

When she caught his tail in her fangs he turned and walked back over to face her. "Interesting for me? Perhaps but...what about you..?" Ciaran grinned a bit as he moved around to get away from her fangs, then bit down on the back of her neck, licking away any blood that surfaced. Once again not deep.
