Nathero Lojak Nathero I read queen of the damned, it was much better than the movie. The movie was attrocious, I should hope the book was better. wink the book kicked much a**. I just may have to check it out. You're the second person I've heard say good things about Anne Rice.

Naughts and Crosses. A modern Romeo and Juliet love story between a white guy and a black girl. I highly recommend it.

Lojak Nathero I read queen of the damned, it was much better than the movie. The movie was attrocious, I should hope the book was better. wink I liked the movie alot... but then again I didnt read the book.

See Spot Run and Timmy the Train... are amazingly well written. I'd suggest you give them a go if you can handle the tough vernacular.
