Hey... Is anyone else taking a harmony and theory class? Because I need some help with the harmonization aspect of it. The whole class has been pretty tough fer me cause i can't recognize pitches played on a piano... so dictation has been a b***h. That's beside the point though. So can anyone help me with harmonization?

I've taken music theory at my college. What in particular is difficult? Hearing harmony, or writing harmony?
You can PM me by the way.

Naw... I had a little pow-wow with my BD about writing harmonies and I got most of my questions answered. The part that had been really hard for me was writing a harmony for a given line of melody (written out) so that the harmony didn't totally obscure the melody. (I'm taking it as a junior in high school)
