Any time you start researching and work towards spell casting and building your own rituals you need to have a basic grounding in correspondences because as we all know ritual is an all-inclusive journey of the five senses, and we need to have certain responses triggered which we do through the incorporation of scent, color, different God/desses, and more.
When you start however, information can be presented to you that might be confusing. What I've done is gone through the tens of correspondence charts I have written down in my books and presented to you the most common uses. However I must tell you that you should always go with what your heart says as opposed to what a book or other people tell you. For instance if Red represents hate to you, using it for a spell to help you love yourself is just not going to work.

In keeping with tradition of all Magical paths, we are allowing you to use our knowledge as a resource. We are not licensed professionals, and by no means do we recommend that you take our information as the end all answer to your solution. Part of the path you are walking requires a constant search for knowledge and answers, we are merely one stop along that path. Anything that is quoted verbatim or in part from other sources will be cited accordingly.
I am using information from my own personal experience and Book of Shadows, from which I have resources from family members, books, other pratictioners, learning and sharing circles and other sources. Anything that I have cited in my book, will be credited, however as I am in the habit of summarizing and changing verbage to avoid copyright infringement, I cannot ensure that it will be verbatim from sources such as books.
I also welcome questions, debates, counter-points and the like. Please feel free to PM me, or add comments in the general conversation area, or at the end of any classroom in this forum. heart
