Great news for Roush fans: Edwards is on a title run! On what is technically his first full season in Nextel Cup, he's won the last 2 races and looked good last year at Phoenix and Homestead. Could he beat Stewart and Johnson for the Cup this year?
Kudos to Mark Martin, not pitting and getting second, also dibs to my driver, Matt Kenseth, getting 3rd (and most laps led) the same way. Johnson passed Stewart on the last corner on the last lap, so everybody moved a bit closer on the leader of the points.
How about that Denny Hamlin? He's on fire lately!

That was amazing. Two wins and two back flips for Carl Edwards. I think that denny Hamlin has a future there in the #11 Fed Ex Monte Carlo.

I think denny Hamlin's the next carl edwards. But denny hamlin seems more like a terry labonte type driver.Runs real consistent, and maybe a win or two a year.At least that's how he seems to me.

I have to say Carl Edwards is on a role for his first full season in the CUp series. And the Denny Hamlin, he's got a bright future ahead of him, I can already see it. He's gonna have some stiff competition next year but damn is he on fire

If Edwards gets a 3rd straight win, I'll try to do a back flip of my own, that guy's got wings in Phoenix too.
I like Denny, but like it was pointed out, he's more for consistency rather than pushing. I see him in the Chase in the next few years, perhaps, with a strong car and push from Stewart.

Heh, not soon after we talk about Edwards and Hamlin... Carl won the Busch race, and Denny got pole for the Nextel Cup race! Talk about karma!

I wonder how many backflips would do if Carl Edwards won the championship? ninja
