Light green eye's searched around the area it was late one evening and the young mother was trying to make sure all her children were going to bed like she had wanted them to. She moved over to the small ruin where she had given birth in. This room addicted at theirs till the time when they would branch out among the colony.
She scanned then room counting the sleeping bodies and their colors before growling a little. A small tan body stirred a little opening her green eyes to look at her mother only to move to curl around her dark brother to warmth since her usually warmth source was not in the bed.
Fumananya quickly turned on her heels and began to search out for her oldest daughter. She had the nanny stay with the others not lashing out on loosing one of her children since her oldest was...well a bit odd.
She moved to the outer ruins before stopping at oune hearing curious sounds come from inside.
"Stupid scientist..." She muttered before ducking under some green vines moving into the enclosure.

Indeed, Fu would come across the dark and light furred young leopardess not long after entering the old ruin. The girl was raised up on her hind legs, paws against a wall as she moved her eyes across the odd markings there, seeming to try to understand what they could possibly have ment.
They were... Interesting... ancient. She could not resist the urge to study them. Young Kesha really was an odd little creature. She cared little for the immediate wold around her, engrossing herself in stories and knowledge of the past. Though... Put a subject in front of her, and she'd very much be in the present to study it as fully as possible. Many a small creature had met their end at her claws as she examined it's body inside and out, coming home a bloody mess far too many times.
Her studies tonight were at least clean... If you ignored all the dirt and dust she was covered with from moving through the ruins, of course.
Small ears twitched at the sound of approaching paw-steps. Familiar paw-steps. And because they were so familiar, she did not bother to turn away from the mall, continuing to study the odd symbols and markings.

The female moved over sitting down near the young leopardess watching her work. It was slightly amusing seeing her on her two back legs.
"You know if you uncle catches you like this he will run for the hills thinking the two leggers have returned." She teased her daughter as she looked to the markings on the wall sighing softly.
"You need sleep Kesha and a bath." She said taking in her dirty state. Yes a good bath for her would do but not before Fu dropped her in the water. It was a bit to dangerous to have such things licked off with the threat of a sickness still lingering in their colony.
"Kesha come now." She ordered sternly raising to her feet but not moving yet she would make sure her daughter would follow before leaving.
"Do not make me tell you again." She spoke a bit louder a few moments after as she watched the young female still engrossed in her work.

She had been able to ignore the first few calls... But that last one had her bristling in agitation as she dropped back to all four paws on the stone, looking up to her mother with the eyes she had inherited from the other female. " Very well... " She sighed out, moving to follow the other out of the ruins. Night seemed to be her primary work-time. Especially since there was much less threat. It was colder, so many serpents avoided the night, seeking warmer places.
And the Gorillas were much less active at night as long as she didn't stumble upon one of their nests. Yes, much safer, in her mind.
Her tail lashed out behind her as she quickly calmed her agitation. It was still early by her standard, but to try to argue to fact with Fu would really do her no good at all.

The female lead her over to the river that ran along side the colony before sitting down beside it. She then pushed the small leopards into the shallow area as she looked to the sky taking in the dark grey blue colors as he heart began to drop deep within her chest.
"Kesha..." She said softly looking to the now soaked female. Her eyes where full of sadness and longing.
"Do you think a being no matter the size great or small can become clean once again once dirty just as you are now?" She asked honestly Kesha out of all her children seemed to be the most knowledge about understand adult matter before her time. An Fumananya rather liked that about her she was proud to say she was liking the idea of calling each of her children hers.
"Do you think its it possible to clean ones soul for the wrong they have committed against another?" She said not coming out and saying she wanted to know if Kamawi would every give the slight bit of hope in forgiving her or that the pain in her heart would go away.

" No matter what gets dirty, all may be made clean again if you really try. " She said easily, blinking the water from her eyes to glance up to her mother. " It is only a matter of determining the type of cleaning that needs to be done. In your case, an apology and the truth may be best. " She said, easily understanding what her mother was referring to. They all knew of their rogue father, and their mother's mate who had yet to return. Her unfaithful actions, despite the best intentions, no doubt weighed on the female.
" It always takes time though, you know... It may take several washes to clean a deep stain. " She nods her head a bit, before ducking it under the water, shaking herself to remove a lot of the dirt before she came back up for air and pulled herself up onto the bank of the shore.
Resisting the rather canine-like impulse to shake the water from her fur, she relaxed instead, waiting for her mother's tongue to clean her further.

Fumanayna in fact did pull the small female cub close to her as she began to clean her of anymore dirt and grim. It was something she rarely did for her cubs since she wended them. Once the small husky colored female was clean.
"There clean." She said as she looked at the girl before she stood moving to lead her back to the colony to put the small leopardess down to sleep. On her way she began to think over things before she stopped a moment.
Her eyes widened instantly as a plan began to form in her mind. She started to move as a faster pace before getting annoyed a little as she garbed Kesha by the back of her neck and took her quickly to where the other cubs where.
She then fled disappearing from the cubs sight before coming back. She had a few things she brought with her before she looked to Kesha to see if she was still awake.
"Kesha." She whispered softly into the darkness cursing the large thing in the sky for not being on.
