I'm pretty sure Valve was in on it this whole time. They even updated the website several times last night saying that they fired EVERYONE! xD You already know it's a joke by then.

Nah, it was definitely intentional. If you pause the video when it zooms out and shows the entire warning board in the Blu base (the one at the very beginning that the Solider is watching) there's a tile that says "Leaked Video." Valve is just sneaky like that.

The video was leaked before the REAL release date. Valve supposedly didn't want it happening, so they even put up an UNLOCKED achievement, saying that it was a mistake. But it was really them who leaked it...

I assume he means the tile on the Alert Board that says "Leaked Video." I suppose it's possible they edited it in after the leak, but I highly doubt it.

This means, for those who don't understand, is on Youtube, there is a setting that allows you to not allow videos to be seen that you have submitted to the open public. Valve, happened to overlook this setting, and submitted the video on youtube thus, a leak. As soon has they found out what had happened that assessed the situation by playing it off with a few jokes, telling people they'll fire them blah blah blah.
