You, (Emma) and I, (Liv) have always had a dream to have a wedding at the Plaza in June since we were young. We used to pretend we were getting married in the attic and say ridiculous things. You would wear your dad's suit, (which looked ridiculously bulky on you) and I would wear the flower hair accessory that had dropped out of a bride's hair at the Plaza and a dress.
So, when I find a small wrapped box in my closet while we're going through a box of my old stuff, we freak out and scream and run around the house. You tell me to wait until he proposes to me so he can see the look my face and I agree.
Then, a few days later, I get a ring from you. I complain, saying 'Emma, it didn't happen today'. But you blurt out that you're engaged. Your boyfriend had slipped it into a fortune cookie, and when you cracked it open, there it was! I interrogate you of how it looks and I freak out. We both knew that I was supposed to be married first, of course.
When we take our daily jog, you tell me that you already planned a meeting with Ms. Saint Claire, who arranges weddings. I freak out and run to my boyfriend's job. He tells me that the Tiffany & Co. box was a normal gift, and calls me an 'ignorant, beautiful woman' and proposes to me with a small black velvet/silk case.
We go to Ms. Saint Claire's and arrange our weddings. I arrange my wedding on June sixth, my parents' anniversary, and you get June 27th. Everything seems good, right? Wrong. The receptionist/secretary Anna made a mistake! She gave the engaged woman after you your wedding date, so you end up having to share a wedding date with Liv!
Will everything work out? And remember, you have three months to plan, a blink of an eye in wedding time.
