So, I was searching for content for the guild. I came across this amazing video, "Doll Face" and it was set to the song "Illusion" by VNV Nation. Apparently, that song was dedicated to this girl who was beaten to death because she was a goth. Beautiful girl, it was a really sad story. Forget ******** Stephanie Myer, this was REAL romance. These kids were beating her boyfriend down, and she cradled his head in her lap and begged them to stop. Of course they just started beating her as well. It's so sad, I teared up reading about it. Anyway, here's the wiki:

I might've heard of it, the name that is, and it definitely doesn't strike me as an isolated incident with all the violence directed towards goth youth.
Beaten to death just because of their labels. Sounds familiar.
And then you read about the tributes, the message boards and the community contribution to a fund towards art and film-making. When 15-20 cause the pain, hundreds of thousands feel and respond. This makes me a little sad as well, that we don't act as a community unless something bad happens.

Well, if you think of it in terms of animals, we're not supposed to. Think of a pride of lions. They kinda just chill and lie around all day doing their own thing. But when there's a threat they get all up in arms and grouplike because a bunch of lions is even scarier than one.
