Okay, so she's supposedly trying to get more people and jobs into the state, so tell me how this helps:
Raising gas taxes, and doubling the cost of vehicle registration.
Firstly, I don't think that anyone is going to want to move here in the first place, especially if everything is just going to be more expensive here.
There's no jobs, so if someone does move here they're going to have to be loaded.
Second, if you want to draw people to your state you LOWER taxes, not raise them. And you certainly don't double the cost it takes to register your vehicle. The amount they charge for that is already ridiculous, so I don't know what they're thinking.
Okay, and another thing. She claims that she wants to increase tourism to the state.
In Michigan, there are a lot of campgrounds and a lot of people come from all over to camp there. So what does the dumb bi*** decide to do? Close 12 of Michigan's state park campgrounds.
Seriously, I don't know if I've ever seen such bad governing.
Michigan wasn't in the best condition when she took over and she's done nothing but screw it up worse since she took over. rolleyes
I hate to speak negatively about a Democrat, but she is seriously retarded.
