Two questions:
1) The Park. Should it just be a community RP area so all the houses can RP together? Or should it also be used for things like non-RP chat and asking questions about the sub-forum too? We don't yet have a place for that; I'd rather not use the Town Hall like an SFQ.
2) Not so urgent. What should we do about a waiting list for the shops, once we get 10 of them? We can think about that if or when we get there though.
If any of those who graduated a while ago want to set up a shop, then I would suggest do it now before the subforum officially opens if that's ok with everyone else. Then when it's opened there will be more places to post.

1) I like the idea of using the park that way.
2) Are you talking about 'once we get ten different shops what if there's someone who wants to make something different' or are you talking about taking over/recreating an old shop who's owner is MIA? If its the first, then I guess it depends if its an rp shop or something that's actually selling something like the id shop. Are art shops allowed?

1) Not sure which one you mean. Do you mean (a) just for RP, or (b) for RP, non-RP chat, and questions?
2) Well we decided we'd only have 10 shops at a time. So what if there's already 10 and then someone else says they'd like to make one? Are we going to have a waiting list somewhere? (So that when a space opens up - either through someone becoming inactive or deciding to close their shop - the first person on the waiting list can have it,)
As for actual gold shops, I'm not sure. Originally, it was decided that the grads subforum should be RP shops and that gold shops (like IDs and art) should stay where they currently are, in the main sub-forum.
Another thing to discuss: when can students RP in the shops? I think they should be able to RP in Hogsmeade around holidays, basically when we have the events. Like Christmas/New Year, Valentine's Day and Halloween (for a few days thereabouts), etc.

Oh, well, gold shops could stay where they are then, so its fine. Well, we could have it the inn (since that's the first place graduates should go) the main rules thread thing, or well, if the park is a faq/rp/off-topic chat idea is used (that's what you're suggesting, right Lyra? sweatdrop ) then maybe there? So they could post there and be added to the list? Or would that just clutter up the thread? :/

I think it should be for RP. Everyone can always use OCC or anything like that if they wanted to just talk. However, if we want to have a spot specifically for just talking out of rp then I think it should have it's own thread. The Inn is going to busy enough.
Over, 10 Shops, I think we can deal with it when it comes up. I think it will depend on the situation anyway.
A while ago I suggested we should have our own SFQ but for the Grads forum. Maybe we could do that.
