Poseidon looked at her for a moment considering her question. "Well you are odd looking but you're not really weird or odd. If I said you were I'd have to also say that everyone else is too in someway."

Mizuko actually smiled for once in a calm manner. "I see...thanks. That's all I needed to know." The wind blew her long hair. "I might eventually like to settle down one day instead of constantly being angered or fearful of others. I try to be calm, but sometimes it doesn't work out so well."

"Welcome." Poseidon muttered before snorting, "I know how it is trying to be calm and not having it work. But you shouldn't be afraid of others... they should be afraid of you.... or at least wary." His moods definitely made sure that everyone in his owner's horde was like that.

Mizuko watched Posiedon for a moment before looking back out to sea. "I see...well it helps to know someone else understands." She watched the fishes go by. "Well it's more of I don't want them knowing I exist too much...some things are best left in the dark such as my true identity or else I might try to be captured again."

Poseidon nodded. It was nice to know there was someone else who understood what he was talking about. "Captured? Did the humans once try to catch you in a cage?" The whole true identity business caught his attention. What was her true identity?

Mizuko kept her glance on the ocean and it's fish. She eventually shut her eyes remembering all the memories when she was trying to be sealed up. "Well...it's a long story. I don't mind telling it, but would you want to hear? I did get captured or more like sealed away for many years."
(sure. Works for me. ^^)

Poseidon's ears perked up. "I would be very interested in hearing your story.... but only if you are comfortable telling it." He had seen her look when she shut her eyes and to him it seemed a little pained. He didn't want to cause her pain at all.

Mizuko had a small smile, but yet a sad one at that. "It's alright. I don't mind telling it. Afterall, it's part of who I am." She opened her eyes back up. "There once was a master magician named clow reed. He had many powers and magical abilities. I was just one part of many of his. He created many cards matching our powers and placed us inside them. He knew that some of us if left out in the real world would overuse our powers and possibly cause harm and grief to others." She looked towards Poseidon then back to the sea.
"It wasn't so bad at first, but once Clow disappeared we never saw the light of day again for many years." She paused a bit before continuing. "That is until some girl opened up the book. How she got to possess us I have no clue, but once she did we all made a break for it. I went to a place that was closest to water since I had not been able to be near it. I do admit though I did use my powers like crazy. It was more because I was angry at being sealed for so long and not being used. The idea of just being put in the dark with nothing to look forward to just irritated me." She clenched her jaw thinking about it, but eventually relaxed. "However, I did not take anyone's life and a group of moonlits let me stay in this form since they hunted me down originally. I have no clue what happened to the other cards or powers. I hope they are happier now."
