I've been playing bass with a cute local band. We play everything from chick pop to punk rock (literally, we've covered Katy Perry and Rise Against) but now I have a job. I've been trying so hard to get really tight with the guys (I'm not a very good bassist) but I haven't even started work yet and already there's schedule conflicts. Maybe I will have to choose between the band and the job... Tough call. I love music but I seriously need the money.

Hey!
Tricky situation you got there... I feel sorry for you, caus' you seem to really like this band crying Reality is, if there's no money, there is no band. Hopefully you can sort something out, but I recommend you take the job for the time being.
ps : Female bassists = eek exclaim heart

The job is definitely more valuable then a band. There are all ways bands out there, and there's all ways time later on for a band too.
