He was interested in it. I don't think he bought and lived in those supposed haunted castles just for kicks.

Dillybob333 I've read the Zeppelin biography. The one written by their tour manager, Richard Cole, and he was, in fact pretty, obsessed with the occult. Mostly Aliester Crowley artifacts, including two houses (i think. I'm not sure if he bought the second one but i know he was thinking about it.) and a bunch of books and journals. If you'd like the name of the book it's called Stairway to Heaven: Uncensored. Also he lit a fire in the sink at a hotel when he had the door locked and a horny groupy with him. I've only read Hammer Of The Gods: The Led Zeppelin Saga. I forget who it's written by, but the guy only met & talked with them for a while. ... Stupid groupies. ;/

Daedhel Yehudah dirty old sod Yehudah You ever think he might have been interested in that kinda stuff, but not actually proceeding with it?! In some of there songs there promoting religion, for a big Example, In My Time of Dying. Its quite a confusing issue! Exactly, he said himself he was interested in it but wasn't actually into preforming it and the like. I'm sure he tried/experimented at one point though, but wasn't an occultist. And they probably were into religion to an extent, I'm sure they went to church when they were young and such, and Plant does sing about god and jesus in more then one song. Groovy, so exactly it wouldnt make sence if they we're olcultist, and plus on the Led Zeppelin 3 album there a picture of Robert Plant with a huge cross on him lol. Its a cool pic. yeah, that's right. 3nodding but what I have noticed is that most of people that hardly know what Led Zep is do know about the Stairway that if you listen to it backwards than you will hear some satanist text, bleh, bleh, bleh. rolleyes . I haven't even tried, but I think that they must have helped their ears with their imagination to hear such things. I've read a lot of Zep songs (for better understanding - it's not always clear what they are singing) and I haven't found anything even a bit occult. stare I listened to it backwards. I recorded it, then I made it go reverse. It even worked on my DVD/CD player! He says: Oh, here's to my sweet Satan. The one whose little path would make me sad, whose power is Satan. He'll give those with him 666. There was a little toolshed where he made us suffer, sad Satan. I think it's quite funny. It's only a coincidence.

I think there is a difference between interest/fascination and a follower.
Jimmy HIMSELF has said that he does not support Satan, and doesn't practice black magick or anything.
He's just had a deep fascination for it.
I completely agree with dirty old sod.
Anyways, doesn't all of this make him even more of a fascinating person than he already is? whee

Akhilles Yea i know, and He only told Robert Plant, but Plant was to high to remmeber what it was. I think his words were " Ok Robert im gonna tell you what ZoSo meens, and im only going to tell u now, or when i die, so here it is..." And Rob forgot. yea I read that somewhere. Plant was the ONLY person he told. I can't believe he forgot what it means!! Crazy!
I felt really stupid the other day becaues I have Zoso on my folder and my mate was like "what does that mean?"
So I say "It's Jimmy's sign. Duh"
But then she goes "Okay. So what does it actually mean?" " sweatdrop ...Jimmy?" Maan I felt like such a bad Zepp fan.

It's kind of over my head, yknow? There was this really good website with in depth detail about its true meaning, but I can't seem to find it. Apparently Jimmy changed parts of it, so the true meaning is only known to him. -shrug-

Now I want a symbol that only I know the meaning of. Genius.
So all these people think they know exactly what he was trying to say but the whole time it probably meant something completely different. haha.
