((Might ask a couple of Tier's old friends to make an appearance here or there, but for now, this is just for the Avenging Angel... Enjoy the read. Currently: Tierany & Lakona Visiting: Addy, Airi, Nina Forthcoming: ?))

With a sigh Tierany escaped from her hiding place as the day melted into night. She had no wish to meet any other travelers, so often she moved with the night and hid herself away during the day. Her daughter was hunting her, she knew. And so were her friends, Venati and Whistle and Lakona... But all of them knew that when she didn't want to talk, it was wiser not to try. So they hovered just out of the realm of her hearing, out of the reach of the winds who would blow their scents to her, out of eyesight. But she could feel them, just beyond her perception, feeling for her. She didn't want to feel, not right now. Maybe, not ever... Ever again... It hurt so much. Too much. Traitorous heart... She thought acidically as she prowled. Lying males and traitorous heart... Was any of it worth it? She could not say that, should not say that... She had two beautiful daughters and friends she would not have had... And she had enjoyed that time... However brief it now seemed.

Was that little bit of beauty actually worth all this pain? A tiny voice asked doubtfully. All this suffering? "Best not to feel... Not to think about it.. Not right now.." She murmured to herself as she walked along. "Maybe.. Maybe not ever..." That would be better... But how could she look at her daughter and feel nothing? How could she look at her friends and feel nothing? It would be so much safer... The voice offered. So much easier... 'But then...' Whispered another voice. 'When did you ever take the easy way out?' "Who said that?" Tierany snarled venomously, spinning to take in the land around her. No one in sight. "Who said that?" 'Come now Tierany...' Laughter, ghostly and a little mocking. 'Answer the question... When did you ever take the easy way out?' "Never." The Ghostwalker snapped. "Show yourself. The answer is never."

Lakona appeared in a shimmer of night air, a smile on her maw as she glanced up at the full moon, then back to her friend. Tierany had seen her for what she was, and walked with her when no one else did. Instead of seeing a helpless cub, Tierany had felt the Moon's Daughter trapped within a mortal shell... Tierany had always known. "I know the answer is never." She said soothingly. "But you needed to hear yourself say it... You never take the 'easy way out', Tierany... You've always done what was needed -whatever was needed- to keep us all happy and safe..." She glanced at the moon again, as though listening, then seemed to shake off something. "I know things have gone wrong, Old Friend, Dearest Friend." She smiled, a little sadly, in understanding. "But that is the way of our lives, is it not? Is it not, normal, to have trials? You who have faced so much to gain this second life, you above all know this."

Tierany relaxed as the Moon's Dark Daughter appeared, eyeing the low-lying orb above her. She wouldn't put it past the Moon -or her Daughter- to be keeping an eye on those they felt needed it... And she wouldn't put it past the Moon to call Lakona into play, should she feel it was needed. Instead of getting defensive, Tierany sighed and sat, watching as Lakona drifted closer. She had arrived on the lands and stumbled across the cub-bound entity purely by accident. One of the most fortunate ones, she thought. "You always seem to know best, Lakona..." She murmured with a half-smile, rubbing cheeks when the other was close enough. "Or at least, you always seem to think you do..." A weak attempt at jest, but it was an attempt. "I am tired of having to fight all the time... I know it is part of life, but perhaps I feel that is all this life has become..."

Lakona smiled in understanding as she sat after exchanging a cheek-rub greeting with her oldest and truest friend. She wrapped her tail around her, fanning herself idly with her feathers. "Of course I always know best..." Lakona murmured smugly, eyes flashing as she lifted her head proudly. "I have it all on very good authority, too." She nodded at the moon above. "But enough about me -though I've stories to tell you of my family later- Old Friend.. Tell me of your troubles." She frowned slightly, resetling her paws. "I know it is males that hurt your heart, Tierany... And I know you hate to fight... But that cannot be all your life is. What of Tava? And your young Shaman, the one you were guiding, Dashira?"

"Of course you do." The Dark Angel echoed blandly, her face playfully doubtful. "How could I forget? Oh please forgive me!" She laughed as Lakona did, glad to have her friend by her side once more. Why was it they all had gotten to be so far apart? Surely the troubles in their lives couldn't be more important than their friendships... "We should seek Venati and Whistle some time..." She murmured. "I miss our wanderings, our coversations..." Tierany frowned at the mention of 'males', pinning her ears and snarling at the Dark Moon. "Let us not speak of such things, Lakona. Let us try and have a nice visit. It has been too long since I've seen you.. I would rather spend our time catching up, not discussing my poor choices and failures." She sighed. "Tavari is wandering.. Offering the Guidance she has... As for Dashira, I believe she too is about.. Though I do not know for sure. If no harm has come to her family, she has probably taken to wandering... She is much like Elli, even though they are not related..."

Lakona grinned widely at the opportunity Tierany had unwittingly presented. Poor Tierany, even after all these years, she couldn't see when Lakona was scheming.. But then, not many could. Her mate was a different story... But most of the time he let her get away with it anyway.. Ahh, the perks of a good male. Moving on. "Alright... Alright.. No male talk." She grinned widely, fluttering her lashes. "I Prooooooooooomise... So.. Have you seen Nina for awhile? Or Airi and Addy?"
Tierany frowned at the sudden question. "I.. No.. Not for some time actually.. Why?"
Lakona grinned and shrugged, flicking her tail. "Noooo reason really..."

Nina
Addy
Airi
Speak of the devils and they shall come...in force.
Nina praced out ahead of the twins, singing loudly to some tune that niether of them could place, nor did they care to try. She was hiting the notes raw, and making Airi wince from time to time.
"NINA! What part of sealth do you not get?! The dead heard you comming!"
Airithn winced. "And their asking you to stop."
Nina huffed, sticking her tounge out at the twins. "Oh you two are no fun."
"And what part of that dispaly was fun? The pain you were causing? Or the whole making an a** out yourself?"
"The making an a** out of herself."
"I agree."
"You two suck."
"Not as much as you!"
Airithn sighed. These two were so loud. She glanced up, spotting the 2 lioness. She gave Addy a smack, who whipped around to start ranting, but stopped short catching Lakona and Tier in her line of sight.
"Nina. There they are."
"Told you."
"Oh shut up."
"You!"
"CUT IT OUT! Jeez." Airithn snapped, walking past the gaping lionesses to the other two. "Hello there!"
Nina grinned. "We're HEEEEEEEEEEEERE."
Addy sighed. "And I want to bash my head on a ROOOOOOOOCK."

Tierany didn't know whether to laugh out loud, burst into tears, or begin beating herself unconcious on the nearest boulder. Nina. Airithn. Adalia. Perhaps just Nina she could have tolerated.. After all, it was still a lot of fun to bring up the whole "HinhallowxNinaxLakona Love Triangle blow out" from time to time.. Lakona would NEVER live that down.. And the twins were fine, on a good day of course... But.. Not Just Nina. And Not just the Twins -because even Tier admitted it was a cold day in hell when just ONE of them appeared... No.. It had to be All. Three. Of. Them. "Lakona." She hissed, turning very slowly to glare balefully at the moon's dark daughter. "You may be visiting your mother sooner than you think..."
Lakona laughed at Tierany and flicked her tail in dismissal, prancing past her friend and forward to rub cheeks with the three new arrivals. "Hiya girls, your timing couldn't be better.. But I bet you already knew that..." She greeted them with a wide smile, spinning to face the Guardian once more. "Come now Tier, even you have to admit, you saw it coming. It is a rare thing to even THINK about one of these guys without them popping out of thin air.. And don't tell me you wouldn't be disappointed if they missed such an opportunity, because we all know its a damned lie."

Nina gave the two lioness a huge grin, dancing forward to give Lakona an affectionate nuzzle. "Heya Lakona! Long time no see? Hows Hin?" She gave the goddess a look, wriggling her silver eyebrows. "I haven't seen him since the...incident..."
Addy chocked back a laugh, returning the nuzzle. "You let him out of the cave yet?" The gaurdian smiled, watching Airithn nose Lakona before shifting silently over to Tier. Out of all three of them, perhaps Airi knew how Tier felt. After all, she and her mate had parted ways not to long ago, and the white lioness was far quieter than she used to be. Addy would approach Tier later, but she figured Airi could give the silent support the spirt needed. "Hello Tier!"
Airi smiled, stopping short of touching the spirit. "Hello Tierany." Ever since her own split, which was on both sides, she'd been in the company of her sister, needing the love only her sister could offer. The strength her sister gave. Perhaps all she needed was that silent strength. "How are you? Its been a while."

Lakona gave Nina the sly smile she deserved, looking very self-satisfied... She glanced to Addy, and grinned a little wider. "Of course Hinhallow is WONDERFUL... And of course he's been let 'out of the cave'.. But he's so busy with our two BEAUTIFUL children... So he hasn't been able to visit everyone as much... He does dote on them.." She smiled at Nina. "But I promise we'll all visit soon." The Dark Moon was more than content to listen to the teasing about her mate. After all, in the end, she was friends with Nina and Hinhallow was her mate. So, she had won more battles then she had thought to enter that day so long ago...
Tierany smiled and chuffed her greetings to the trio. Her eyes fixing on Airi, who had come the closest. "Hello Airithn... I hope you have been well?" She tilted her head in question "I have... Been well enough. Wandering, mostly. And yes, it has been too long.. I am sorry for that.. We used to have quite a bit of fun together..."

Nina gave a squeal, boucing around. "BABIES?! Oh how exciting!" Nina was so proud of Lakona, and so pleased that she had something to do with the two of them getting together, and having childern. "Names! I want names! And I want to meet them at some point! They need a badass aunt. And I'm that aunt."
Addy laughed, grin plastered on her face. Babies. God she was old. She remembered when Lakona was still a CUB. God almighty...being alive forever was begining to really bite the big one.
Airithn gave her a small smile, nodding once. "As good as can be expected." She didn't want to bring up what happened to the female, because she knew how much that cord hurt. "No worries. Addy and I have been alone. I've had some ...issues..." She coughed, glancing away, "We still can, you know." She smiled warmly, waving off the other two. "You can talk to me if you want...If you dont want to, thats ok too. Just know i'm here."

"Two beeeeeeeauuuuuuuuuutiful babies." Lakona crooned. "The boy is Nikalo, and the girl Acierta... She looks so much like her daddy, while he takes more after me..." She grinned, laughing softly. "Of course you'll see them, Oh Badass Aunt. Who else would I go to?" She glanced at Addy. "Try to remember, Old Guardian of Heaven, that I was around centuries before I was trapped in that little body... And so you are still quite young."
"That's not exactly reassuring." Tierany murmured playfully at Lakona. "I remember you falling out of nowhere to follow me around... And yet, we both have had cubs and watched them grow..." She glanced to Airithn and smiled sadly. "I am sorry things have been hard for you... I know what that is like..." She trailed off for a moment. "Yes, I know we can still have fun... And perhaps we will get together with the express intention of doing just that..."
