Zoei scratched his head the shrugged at her choice before following her to the game shop. "I hope they have those new cards in that's not made out of paper this time. That way I won't have to get mine ruined." He commented as he browsed through all the unique and crystal looking dice.

Lavi walked over picking up one of the lutes, checking it's weight, tuning it some before picking up a few backup strings and purchasing it. He knew he had more then enough what they asked for and was quite good at haggling down the price as well. Walking outside he handed it to her with the extra strings in a small bag. "Fair trade I believe, I teach you to fish and you teach me to play the Lute. Also this way we have something nice to listen to around the fires or on the trip period. I'd also love to hear your singing more on the trip as well." He smiled as he waited for her reaction.

It took Radar awhile to finally get free of the Order and their lectures, he walked by the priest he spoke with earlier and thanked him for gathered what he needed, double checking over everything. "This should suit us well." He smiled softly before heading out, with the book in hand.

*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*

Seeing how scared Mele was on the horse, Demyan mounted it, sitting behind her. He kept his hurt arm around her while his other steered the horse. "I'll be alright, I'm here."

Ezri picked out several sets of cards, all coated slightly so they wouldn't ruin easily, handing them over to him for inspection, "They have lots of really interesting dice here," she said looking them over, while he was hopefully distracted with the cards she picked out a few sets he seemed to admire and handed them to the shopkeeper to be placed in a bag for him. "So, do those cards pass?"

Santha's face lit up with a bright smile when he handed her the lute, "Your sure its not too much? Their so expensive," she asked, not wanting him to not have money he may need for something that wasn't necessary. "I mean, I love it, and I'd love to teach you, then you can play and I can dance, and," she trailed off throwing her arms around his neck in a tight hug. "Thank-you so much!

*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*

Mele did her best to relax against Demyan, carefully placing her arms over his injured one around her waist, "I've never, ridden on one before," she said softly, feeling safer now that he was sitting with her, she kept her head down slightly, he hadn't said what he had disguised them as, but she knew that he had because it was easier.

Zoei took his time looking at the card Ezri handed him, then a few odd other before decided to keep the ones that were coated that she handed him. "These work. Though I could check the North Kingdom when we get there to see if they have what I'm talking about." Watching as Ezri was purchasing something he was quick and sly about pilfering a side deck before walking up and paying for two others. It was how he was trained and he wasn't about to pay so much for a deck like the one he pilfered. "Anything else from here you want to look at?"

The sudden hug shocked him a bit as it knocked Lavi off balance and onto his butt. He kept an arm around Santha though so she wouldn't get hurt in the fall before he started to laugh. "It wasn't to expensive. Remember I do save and I have more than enough."

*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*

"I should teach you how to ride then. It would help in the future." Riding up to a ranchers stables he got off the horse and helped Mele down before talking to the man and just handing him the Mare. "There's no need to trade, The horse has been on a long journey and needs a new home to graze. She's a good animal and I'm sure she'll be of better use to you than us." After talking to the man he wrapped his arm around Mele and walked into town with her, finding a place for them to eat.

Ezri shrugged softly, she had plenty of food and things on the list for the cart, "Not really," she answered walking outside with him she placed the pouch and the dice it contained in his hand with a small smile, "We still have some time, lets just do some walking around," hooking her arm through his she walked with him through a few more of the stands, pausing only to look at a stand that sold scarves and gloves and the like. She looked some of them over, frowning a bit at the prices of some of the nicer looking ones, epically a velvety one she seemed to like, scrunching up her nose some, "Winter's still a ways off, we're barely through spring," she said thinking a moment, "Unless there's something you may just want for the journey, I'd say we're done,"

Santha squeaked as they fell, chuckling softly when Lavi laughed, she carefully let him go so he could stand getting to her feet herself, taking time to dust off. "I didn't mean to make you fall," she apologized softly, waiting for him to get up before taking his hand, the other keeping a safe hold on the lute. She was thoughtful for a few moments before stepping up to a stand, finding a nice sturdy case that it would fit in, so it wouldn't get smashed on their journey "I need to find a cloth to wrap it in, but if I use a nice scarf, then when its colder I'll have that to wear, or maybe I can sew a cloth to the inside, although I don't think that would wrap as well," she spent a moment putting the lute into the case and moving the spare strings to the small inner pocket, hugging the case lightly to her chest. "Or if I just got material and thread, I could make it a wrap!"

*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*

Mele nodded softly, she'd seen lots of people riding horses but it had always been out of the question for her to even try people always paid attention to someone on a horse, and attention to her was always a bad thing. She leaned lightly into Demyan's arm pointing out a place that looked to have good food, and one of the stands that clearly did sell knish's. "How about there for breakfast?"

Zoei looked through the bag as he walked with Ezri, a smile crossing his lips. "Thanks." He spoke softly, meaning it as he put them in his pocket with his old dice. Watching as she looked though the scarfs he noticed how the velvet one sparked her interest then nods. "Oh, no I say a stroll would do me some good after being cooped up in a room for so long.Think you can meet me at the fountain?" He handed her some coins. "Go buy yourself somethign sweet to eat. I'll join you there in a second." He wasn't about to tell her what he was planning.

"We can stop by a fabric shop and pick up the materials you need." Lavi suggested as he dusted himself off once he was on his feet. "It still gets rather cold at night so we can see what they have to help."

*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*

Demyan walked over to the stand with Mele. "Alright then, sence this is what you were craveing we'll start out with one of these." He nodded towards her letting her know she can pick hers and his out as he gave her the coins to pay for it.

"Your welcome, I was hoping you would like them," Ezri smiled softly and nodded, "Want me to get you anything?" she asked, waiting for him to answer before heading to the food stands.

Santha thought for a moment tapping her chin, "I know Ezri said that we have lots of extra blankets and cushions in the cart this time," shaking her head lightly she used her free hand to grab onto Lavi's. "There was a fabric stand over this way," she said leading him over to it, once there she looked over the different colors of fabric carefully feeling them as well, "You don't want something scratchy, but you don't want something thats a yucky color either," she explained picking up a small container of buttons and patch up kits as well.

*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*

Mele grinned happily, simply paying for things with coins was something that gave her this feeling of joy, it may have been because of how normal a thing it was to do, and one that she hadn't really been able to, getting the two best they had and paying, she handed one up to Demyan, almost immediately biting into hers, "These are really good," although they were under one of his illusions, she stayed close to him, someone could feel her horns even when they couldn't see them.

"No, i'm good. You just take your time. I've heard there's quite a big selection when it comes to the treat they sell." He waited patiently for Eari to go off and get out of his sight before walking back to where they were selling the scarfs. Knowing he only had so much gold now he was unsure if he could buy that scarf for her or not. He waited for the shpo owner to get to busy with another customer or go in the back room before he pilfered it. He wasn't about to tell Ezri what he did, but he made sure no one saw and walked out making sure to put it in one of their existing bags. He wanted to make sure to give it to her after they left the kingdom. He finally met up with Ezri after awhile and sat next to her. "So what did you get?"

Lavi looked through the fabrics they had listening to Santha. "You'd also want something to move in that was comfortable." He added. Picking up a medium sized sewing kit, he made sure there was a good enough amount of thread in multiple colors as well as the ones most used. Sewing needles, thimbles, patches and much more before buying it for the trip.

*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*

Demyan took it not really fond of the meal but didn't show her that and walked with her to a nice shady spot to eat. "We still have a ways to go."

"Chocolate pie," she answered offering him a bite, "Its one of my favorites, and not something thats easy to find out on the road," she waved her arm offering him the seat next to her, "Its a shame to leave here, this place can be so peaceful at times, although I've grown pretty accustomed to traveling."

Santha picked out a a few fabrics, and then an embroidery kit, paying for them and taking the bag over to Lavi, "You can put those in here if you want, so all the sewing things will be together," she suggested, smiling softly. "Its getting near lunch time, think we should go meet Mister Radar now?

*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*

Mele nodded lightly, sitting between him and one of the trees, "How much longer do you think it will take?" she asked softly, genuinely curious. After finishing her meal, she leaned back on her elbows, before lying on the grass completely. It was nice and warm although she knew Demyan preferred dark rooms, sometimes being in the warmth of the sunlight was nice.

"You can't just find a recipe and the ingrediants to make it?" Zoei questioned as he sat next to her refuseing the pie. "Every place holds their secrets." Meaning from him, no matter how peaceful it may seem everyplace is usually bad.

"Yeah, He woke up pretty early and didn't look so good, I should have went with him, but I rather say away from any Order." Lavi took the bag from Santha as he started to head back to the tavern with her. "Looks like he's already waiting on us." He pointed Radar out.

Radar was already packing the packages that were sent to the tavern, making sure that everyone had room to sit in the coach. Looking up he waved to Santha and Lavi a small smile comming from him.

*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*

"To get to the next town, It would take another day and a half most likely if we take it slow." He decided to take his time and let Mele enjoy herself and not demolish this place yet. Strangly it put him at peace. "Let's see if we can find any other Users here before we leave. Just keep it on the down low."

"Chocolate isn't one of the easier things to cook, although I supposed if I had time I could get it right," she said listening to him as she finished off the pie, leaving her payment under the plate. She got to her feet, adjusting her cloak for a moment. "Anything else you need before we head out?" she asked

Santha waved at Radar when he smiled at them, "I don't blame you for that at all," she walked up to the cart looking it over. "Anything we can do to help Mister Radar?"

*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*

Mele made an affirmative noise nodding softly, "The closer we get to the Eastern Kingdom the harder it was going to be to ask about or locate any Users without arising suspicion about ourselves." she said quietly seemingly lost in thought for a moment, "Although, as long as we're careful it'll be okay." she watched the people moving around the town, keeping an eye out for any signs that someone was hiding something, or that someone was nervous about being around other people.

"I wouldn't know I don't really cook to well." Zoei got to his feet as he rested a hand on his hip. "I say we head out, i'm sure everyone is waiting on us by now."

Radar smiled as he gave Santha a nod. "Could you help me double check and make sure everything is here and secure?"

Lavi made his way around seeing that they had two horses he nodded and pated their noses. "We have backup feed for these horses?"

*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*

Demyan took a few more minutes to relax before getting to his feet. He didn't notice anything out of the ordinary and he wanted to get to Mele's old home as soon as possable. "You ready?"

Ezri nodded softly, leading the way to the cart, once there she walked over to Radar placing and arm around him in a hug, "Feeling better I see?" she said, looking over at the cart and their stuff, "Looks like we're about ready to head out, don't you think?" she looked over at Zoei with her question.

Santha checked over Ezri's list and the items in the cart, "Yea," she answered Lavi, handing him her lute while she climbed up checking the rest of the boxed. "Looks like it to me," sitting down on the edge of the cart she reached her arm out, offering to hold her lute again.

*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*

Mele nodded softly getting to her feet and dusting off her dress, "Think we should pick up something that we can have for dinner later? Or wait?" She asked softly,

Radar handed Santha back her Lute as he gave Ezri a small nod. "I have the book and we should be ready." He gave he a light hug back as he walked around the coach and got in the drivers seat waiting for everyone.

"I say we head out, we have a long way ahead of us." Zoei jumped in the coach offering a hand to help Ezri up.

Lavi climbed up and sat next to Radar up front, he looked back making sure everyone was seated and accounted for.

*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*

Demyan was already ahead of her. He walked over to a food stand, making sure he grabbed Mele's hand so she could be next to him and picked up a few things before heading to the stables and getting a new horse.

Ezri took Zoei's hand stepping up into the cart walking over so she was near the drivers seat and messing with the blankets a moment, after a bit she had several set out into what would make sitting more comfortable. Waiting for everyone to sit down she grinned at Zoei before turning to Radar, "Lets be off then!"

Santha sat back against some of the blankets Ezri had fixed, taking out her lute and messing with it lightly, carefully wrapping it in a piece of the material they had gotten before placing it back into its case, not yet closing it up.

*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*

Mele stayed close to Demyan, taking the food stuffs from him so he would have his hands free at the stable when messing with the horse, she watched him with the horse, she would rather walk for a while, but it would take much longer than one of his comfortable coaches, and there was the risk of being seen.

Radar nods as he snaps the reigns and gets the coach moving out of town.

Zoei sat on the floor leaning against one of the walls before yawning some. He was still a bit worn out from all that went on lately. He kept a package close to him as they headed out of town, not sure when he'd want to give it to Ezri yet.

Lavi smiled watching Santha a bit before going back to help Radar keep a watch out on the trail.

*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*

Easily getting the horse out of the small town Demyan conjured up another coach, a bit bigger this time so Mele could lay down comphy in one of the seats if she ever got tired. "Make sure to keep a lookout on the road here and there for any lone user just traveling as well. I'll be doing the same." He informed her before helping her in the coach and stepping in behind her, taking his seat as he closed the door.

Ezri watched Zoei for a moment, before getting into one of the boxes, she pulled out one of the pillows and laid it down between her and the side wall, "Why don't you get some rest? I'll take a shift driving before we decide if we'll stop for the night or not," she offered patting the pillow lightly, and giving him a small smile.

Santha took her time working with the material she had to wrap around her lute, using her arm to measure how long she wanted it, and checking that by the way it wrapped her lute, unwrapping it again she carefully set it on the blanket before getting to the sewing things and carefully cutting the material, soon starting to sew the edge to make it the right size.

*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*

Mele bounced on the seat lightly, "Near the tree's, most Users who you can tell by sight would step farther away from the road, or just out of sight when they hear a wagon come by, so no one could see them," she said thinking about how she traveled alone. Spending a few moments she carefully moved the window cover so it would be easier for her to see out, but it wouldn't let in too much light that would bother Demyan, she crossed her arms on the sill of the window, watching for anyone of interest.

Zoei looked up, not sure if Ezri was talking to him or Radar. Tilting his head some he looked at the pillow then shook his head. "I'm good, just worn out I guess. Did you talk to Radar about what we discussed last night?"

Radar let Lavi know he could sit in the back while he steered the coach, looking back some a bit curious about what Zoei said before looking back at the road.

Lavi sighed and smiled before he headed to the back, taking a seat by Santha. "Having fun?"

*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*

"If you see anything let me know. I'll be trying to rest a bit more." Demyan adjusted how he was sitting to lay across his seat making sure it was on the side that wasn't hurt. He knew it would take them at least another day till they got to their destination so he wasn't in any rush at the moment.

"Not yet," she said thinking a moment, "Here, Zoei, why don't you lay down and rest a bit, I'm gonna talk to Radar," Taking a few moments to put her hair up into its normal braid she carefully climbed up into the seat Lavi had just vacated. Spending several minutes talking to Radar about what Zoei had said before about the kingdom. "I don't really agree with him going in on his own, I don't think its safe, but overall its the best plan we have for getting in and out of there in any reasonable amount of time," she explained glancing back to see if Zoei was at least getting some rest.

Santha grinned softly showing him what she was doing, "This will make sure my lute doesn't get all scratched up while we're traveling," she said with a small smile, "You have to be careful of bumps and make sure not to p***k yourself because of them, which takes longer, but thats okay, there's lots of time to finish up right?"

*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*

Nodding Mele agreed with him, "You said a day and a half to the next town, and then a little more to get to the Lady's house. You should get lots of rest, so your arm feels better," she answered changing how she sat in the seat so she could more easily watch the road. It took her a moment to settle in comfortable, but once she was she watched carefully, wondering if they had enough luck to run into the legendary user he was looking for just traveling along like this.

Zoei finally got up and moved over to lay down where he was offered. He laid on his back with his head resting against the pillow, moving his bandanna to cover his eyes.

Radar sighed. "Actually it's a lot better plan than I could think of. That place changed so much." He explained to Ezri about the creatures and how they were trained a bit of a worried look crossed his face. "You and Zoei would be the best to get a hold of that book. I can't step foot near that place anymore."

Lavi nods as he watched her. "Why don't you wait till we stop for a break or something to work on sewing, I don't want you to prik yourself to much."

*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*

Demyan nods to Mele before he finally went to a relaxing nap.

Ezri nodded softly, thinking over the time they planned to spend in the East kingdom. "We'll have you and the others stay in a town nearby, maybe see if we can get a small cabin or something, but still, we have to be careful about those creatures. I can stay closer in so if he does run into trouble he'll have help," she frowned softly, looking back at Zoei, him going in alone worried her more than she would say.

"Its okay," Santha said with a smile, "I'm careful as is and I haven't pricked myself once, besides I want to finish the cover for my lute, so it doesn't get scratched up in its case, and its almost done." she really loved her lute and wanted to take as good care of as possible.

*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*

Mele watched the road around them, true to her word to Demyan, although it was boring and there weren't many people traveling the direction they were, she wondered why, recalling that before they went to the North Kingdom, Demyan had said that they were going to check on the Lady's house, for when he went to the East Kingdom. She frowned, huffing out her cheeks, she didn't like the idea of him going at all, much less alone, but knew that she wouldn't be help to him there. Shaking her head she concentrated on the road, wondering how long he would sleep, but knowing he would need it.

"I'll make sure to watch over everyone else while you make sure Zoei stays safe. He doesn't have to know. Besides you seem like you're really worried about him as is, so please once we get there be careful and I will make sure the rest are safe and waiting upon both of your return." Radar handed Ezri the reigns for awhile while he reached over grabbing the book from the South Kingdom and started to read it.

Lavi took the lute away from Santha, looking it over some, smiling at how it made her so happy. "You don't need to rush it. Maybe I should have got it engraved for you."

*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*

Once taking the path in the forest Mele could see a hint of white then a glimmer of glass reflecting from the sunlight. They were almost nearing a smaller village but it wasn't known by most people, since not many took the bath through the forest anymore. The glimmer and white moved farther ahead as if running to something.

Ezri took the reigns thinking over what Radar had said, she couldn't help but be worried about Zoei, she'd grown to really like him in the short time they had been together, and he'd already been near death once because of deciding to travel with her. "I just hope we all get through this okay," she half answered Radar, letting him read his book in peace.

Santha grinned lightly, finishing the last few stitches on the cover, they were really only to keep it from fraying, so they were just simple ones. "See, its all done," she showed him, putting away the needle and thread she had been using. Leaning lightly against his arm she smiled softly, thinking a moment she carefully took the lute, playing a soft lullaby like song, making sure it wasn't loud enough to wake the sleeping Zoei, Lavi could easily recognize it as the lullaby she liked to sing and hum to him.

*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*

Mele watched the glimmer and the white for a bit, trying to see if it was headed the same direction they were, thinking a moment she pushed the window open a bit, trying to see what it was better, wondering after a moment if people around would see their coach the way Demyan had made it or if it was covered in an illusion. Not wanting to risk it, she pulled on her capulet and hood watching which way the glimmer went, wanting to get a better look, but knowing just getting out of the coach was a bad idea.

"I'm sure you both will be fine. Your trust in each other is strong. So don't worry t much on it." He was good at multi-tasking he still read but listened to her at the same time, every now and them making sure nothing went wrong on their travels.

Lavi closed his eyes listening to Santha's playing before he looked over with a soft expression, watching outside of the coach watching as the scenery go by. He tried to clear his mind of what might happen and enjoy what time he had with Santha.

*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*

The glimmer stopped landing in a tree, where she could finally see what looked like a User. The glimmer came from the goggles on his head and the white came from the tip of his tail, wings and ear fluff. It seemed like he was focused on heading to a specific destination. He didn't notice the coach one bit, nor cared if he really did. All he wanted to do was get as close to the small village as possible without being seen. Jumping to the next branch he used his left claws help himself down from the next tree and slink into the bushes.

Ezri nodded, smiling a little at the soft song Santha was playing but keeping her attention on the road for now, "Think we should stop for the night at dark, or travel on through it?" she asked Radar, they still had hours of sunlight left, but wanted to make sure that if they did decide to camp out, which would be the most comfortable, that they would have a nice clearing to do so in.

Santha simply continued playing for a while, glad that Lavi was enjoying her song, she liked to do things that made him happy, especially when it was something she loved so much already.

*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*

Mele gasped softly at seeing the user, it was rare to see someone who stuck out as much as she did, she thought a moment pushing the hood off her capulet, jumping down from where she had been standing in the seat, and landing with a loud thump, she lightly laid her hand on Demyan's leg. "Found one, he has wings one his head and I think his shoulder, and fluffy ears and a tail, he also has weird glasses on his head, he's moving along the trees keeping just a little ahead of the coach when he isn't stopping to rest," she said all in one breath, moving back to the window, she didn't want to loose sight of him but also didn't want to scare him off. Thinking only a moment more, not checking to see if she actually woke Demyan up all the way or not she flung open the coach door, since the horse was only walking she wasn't worried about falling. The door hit the side with a loud bang, as she leaned halfway out trying to see if she could see the User better.

"I say we camp out every night outside, unless we're close enough to a village then we can stay at a tavern or an inn." Radar flipped a page then looked up at Ezri. "I rather us be more comfortable on this journey. Even though it may take longer to get to our destination we can still use the time to get to know each other better." He grinned.

Lavi got up to pull a blanket out and cover up Zoei while he rested. He didn't really hate him, he just thought he did stupid things. He walked over to and sat back next to Santha, with a medium box in his hands now looking through the fishing equipment he bought, making sure it was all there and organized.

*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*

Demyan, reached over and snatched her back rather harsh a glare on his face. "That's not the smartest idea. If you want to follow or get near the users you don't act so rash. Startling him or her and making such noise isn't safe. We don't know what he's capable of yet. So we'll just quietly follow him." He responded not liking the noises one bit. He reached over and quietly closed the coach door and having it quietly follow the direction the User was going.

Not long the User came to the outside of the small village full of Plebians, he slipped behind a tree and looked around it, making sure to stay quiet but watch as the people go on with their lives, but mostly watch one specific Plebian.

"Then camping out it is," she agreed, "How about we travel on until about an hour before sunset, that will give us plenty of time to make and eat a good meal, as well as set up camp."

Santha carefully put her lute away, done playing for the time being, watching Lavi with the fishing things she tilted her head asking questions about what this or that was for. "How do the fish know to grab onto the little hooks?"

*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*

Mele squeaked when she was pulled back, she wasn't expecting that at all. Demyan had never been upset like this with her, and had never treated her harshly before. She hadn't meant to upset him at all. She kept her gaze at her feet, mumbling "I'm sorry," softly her posture stiff as she wasn't really sure what to do at the moment seeming almost like a scolded puppy.

She hummed to herself as she hung laundry, mostly sheets and pillowcases things that wouldn't take long to dry. The villages tavern, which wasn't much in size, was run by her father although most of their visitors were simply for meals there was the occasional traveler who needed a place to stay.

"Maybe a little more than an hour, that way we can get to know where everything is. You never know what deyays may happen." Radar took a deep brath and let it out as he went back to the book.

"Ill show you once we start fishing. It's best to experiance it than just telling. This way you can get the feel of it." Lavi leaned back agast one of the coach walls as he closed the box. "I'll show you also how to sting your fishing rod, and get it ready once we have a place to fish at."

*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*

Feeling Mele stiffen up like so had Demyan loosen his grip some, slowly moving his hand to pat her on the head lightly. "It's alright, you should just think things through before you act like such." He spoke in more of a soft and concerned manner. He looked out the window and had the coacg stop by the small tavern making sure they were under illusion. "Why don't we stay here tonight, it will be a lot better than resting in the coach. This way you don't have to worry about dinner or breakfast." He tried to cheer her up some.

The User crept in closer. He always watched the girl from afar but never aproaced her. He was never sure on how she'd react if she saw him. Frowning to himself he ran his claws lightly across the angelic wing on his right arm as he leaned against a nearby tree.

Ezri nodded a bit, simply enjoying the calm of the afternoon, keeping a careful watch on their surroundings.

Santha nodded, she was excited to learn to do this, cooking a fish was easy, although she had no idea what catching one would be like. "If there's a place where we camp tonight, can we see if we can catch some?"

*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*

Mele nodded softly, leaning against Demyan slightly for a moment, brushing off her dress before opening the door to the coach carefully, she was still a tad down that she had upset Demyan, but gave him a small smile feeling a bit better. "Warm meals would be nice," Turning her attention to someone approaching she paused on the step, unsure how his illusion had them looking this time.

Hearing the coach stop around front, she finished pinning up the sheet she was working on and walked around, a soft smile in place. "Welcome to our village, will you be staying the night?" she asked softly wiping her hands on her apron, to make sure they were completely dry after handling the wet wash.

"The best time to fish is in the morning." Lavi explained. "So if we camp and there's an area nearby i'm sure we can fish, but only if we camp near a stream, lake, or river."

*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*

Looking up at the lady, Dmyan nods towards her, this time they were disquised as an older couple in their mid thirtys, so to the girl they seemed either like siblings or a married couple. "We'll be staying the night. We've had a long journy and felt quite startled after seeing a User in this forest, so instead of traveling all night we rather stay someplace safe." He explained, keeping his arms around Mele's shoulders. My wife seems quite scared, so you you have a room for us?"

The User spotted the coach, a bit confused why the girl was speaking to two other users, for he could se right through their illusion. He arched a brow before slipping his way next to the tavern and hideing near some empty crates, not sure if they ment good or bad here.

Hearing them talk Ezri smiled, soon finding a good sized clearing near a medium sized river there wasn't quite two hours before sunset, but this way she could start teaching Santha how to put up a tent, since she made sure to pack several. As soon as she pulled off into the clearing, she hopped down and started taking care of the horses, getting them both moved to the side of the cart, and carrying the buckets for their water to the river.

Santha nodded, hopping down and stretching drastically before moving to help with things, careful to let Zoei rest. "Lavi, can you help me get the box with the tent things in it?" she asked softly, realizing it was just a bit too heavy for her to do on her own.

*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*

Mele's cheeks reddened at the wife comment, looking down some in hopes the lady wouldn't notice it. She nodded lightly in agreement with Demyan, nerves had her hand up near one of her horns, catching herself and twisting her finger in her hair lightly instead.

She didn't say anything at seeing Mele's blush, only thought that she was embarrassed by her husband telling a stranger that she was scared, the only thing that struck her as odd was the coach didn't seem to have luggage on top like they normally would, and the woman was unusually short, although height was nothing to fuss over.
"Of course, I can't say that I've ever heard of Users around here, however, there's not many who travel by these roads off the trade routes. I can understand you wanting to be extra careful, I mean those who do use these roads use them to avoid the thieves that have been camping off the main routes not too many days travel from here. If you come this way I can show you to a room, do you need help with any luggage?" Her tone was friendly but not too cheerful, a couple was such a nice change from the lone traveler they normally had. She held open the door waiting for them to pass through before following them inside. "Would you like coffee or tea maybe?" she offered remembering herself as a good hostess.

Radar placed the book in a safe place where it couldn't be seen and walked over to he Santha and Lavi.

Lavi made sure to help out, handing what they needed down to Radar and Santha before getting down himself. "Not a bad place for a rest. You have a good eye Ezri." Helping Santha carry the tent over he started to unwrap it.

*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*

"Acually we have some one moving all of our luggae to our new home to the North Kingdom We're from the South. We thought we'd do best for a change. So We made sure not to bring much with us for safer reasons. Also, some tea sounds great. If you have anything to eat, it would be greatly apreciated as well." He took out his pouch and took out a few coins to pay for the room and food. "Will this be enough?"

Finding his way over to a window without being seen, the User peeked up over a window to spy on what was going on.

Demyan nudged Mele some to let her know to look at the window and react to it, a bit curious on how this all will fair out.

Ezri gave the horses both water and food, letting them have their fill. "Thanks," she answered to Lavi, helping them set up that tent, explaining each step to Santha, knowing it would take a few tries for her to get it right. "Lavi would you get some branches for a fire? We have some in the cart, but I don't want to use them unless we have to," she explained, not sure when or if they would go through a barren section.

Santha was cheerful about learning to build up a tent, once the first was done, she carefully spread out the ground cover and took a few blankets to make a nice soft bed for someone to lay on. Soon catching up to Lavi, in order to help him as well. "Can I help?" she asked softly.

*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*

"Dinner can be ready shortly," she answered taking his coins, "Yes it'll cover it just fine," being in such a small village, their tavern didn't charge as high as most would, generally making it a practice to not take more then it seemed a traveler could easily afford, it was her fathers place and he didn't believe in people having to have it hard when they could easily help.

Mele seemed to be innocently looking around, pausing as her gaze reached the window, she cried out turning to hide against Demyan's chest. Acting all the part of a terrified plebian, something she has seen enough herself, she frowned while hidden against him, she didn't like scaring the user, she knew what it was like when people reacted like this to her own differences.

The young lady turned toward the window, stepping backwards until her back was flush against the counter, seeming spooked right off, "Its, its okay," she tried to sooth them. She'd never seen a user up close and was a little scared from the stories she had always heard.

"Sure." Lavi responded to Santha leading her out a bit farther as he started to pick up random dead branches. Make sure not to get to many live branches, they crackle to much causeing noise as well as they can create sparks." He tried to explain.

Radar started to gather the stones and placed them in a circle where they would be making the fire. "You think we should just let Zoei sleep and wake on his own, or you wake him?"

*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*

Demyan held Mele closer backing up a bit as an act. "I think that's the one we saw earlier." Looking down he acted as if he was trying to sooth his wife. "Should we get someone or something to deal with it?" He knew all to well how the Plebians acted in diffrent ways against Users so he used it to the best of his knowledge.

The Users ears folded back as he was started by the scream and fell back, landing on the empty crates, making a terrible racket. He tried to scramble to his feet to run away but noticed his foot was caught but unsure of what had it.

Demyan was grinning on the inside knowing all to well that he had this user in his grasp. Even useing one of his trapping tecniques to keep the User in place. If he could get everyone around hateing it, then it would be easier to bring it to his side.

"I'd let him sleep until dinner, then if he's still out I'll wake him, Ezri answered, she knew Zoei was still worn out from the last few days, and wanted him at his best for the Eastern Kingdom. Sine they had time, she took out one of the bigger pots filling it halfway with the clean water and pulled out potatoes and a few other random vegetables starting to cut them up and toss into the pot, making what would be a small but what should be tasty vegetable stew for them."Its too bad we don't have a rabbit to put in, that would be great," she said softly, thinking at the next town to get a little more hunting gear.

Santha nodded, doing her best to only pick up branches that didn't have any green spots on the inside, holding as much as she could wanting to be helpful.

*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*

"Y-yes," she managed, stumbling herself as she moved to the back of the tavern, "FATHER!"

It only took a few moment for him to have several of the men of the village moving to where the user was, sending his daughter back inside to tend to the guests that the tavern had.

Mele pressed closer to Demyan her fear a little less an act as she heard the men yelling back and fourth about weapons, she didn't like this, she didn't want the user to get hurt, she whimpered softly as someone rushed past them, her arms wrapping around Demyan's waist tightly.

"Its alright," the girl said to them softly, trying to keep them calm after hearing Mele's whimper, "How about if we move into one of the other rooms, I'm sure it will be safer there," she glanced back at the window, she wasn't sure about this user, all she knew about them was what she had heard about them being dangerous.

Well we could hunt for a rabbit or something besides that, but it would take a bit of time just to do so and I'm sure everyone is tired enough. Besides, you'd still need to clean and carve the poor creature." Radar had a smaller book in hand this time as he sat on one of the blankets, he was already half way through with this one sense he started reading it when he was back home. He flipped the page quietly. "You know, being at the rank I am, I wasn't allowed to leave the kingdom period."

Lavi chuckled seeing Santha trying to carry so many branches, he already had a good sized bundle under one of his arms but he still took some of her load from her so she could at least walk right. "Here, let me help you with that."

*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*

Demyan nodded as he helped Mele into one of the rooms. "I can take care of my sweetheart here, why don't you make sure your Father is alright."

Being pinned down by shovels and pitchforks was one thing the user didn't expect. He tried to get up only to have one of the Plebians force him back down by snagging his demonic like wing on his left arm, as a crunch then ripping sound came from it, only to hear a scream of pain afterwords.

Demyan pulled Mele's head close, cover her ears so she couldn't hear a single noise and he rested his forehead against hers, trying to let her know it was alright.

Ezri paused at that, "Because of high rank? You couldn't leave? Thats not right at all," she shook her head lightly, peeling the top layer of the carrots to give to the horses as a snack later.

Santha blushed lightly when he had to take some of hers, she wanted to be helpful not make more work for him, "Once dinner is started, I can teach you some notes," she offered carefully setting the branches a little ways from the fire.

*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*

Despite his efforts Mele could barely hear the scream, she tightened her grip on him wanting to be brave but both terrified and upset that the other user getting her was her fault too. She buried her head deeper into his chest, trying hard not to cry at the muffled sounds she could hear.

She agreed and headed out, reaching the side of the building just as she heard the scream, she paused stunned at what she saw, while yes he was a user, he hadn't hurt anyone here.
Thinking quickly she ran to the other side of the tavern, making sure no one could see her and screaming like she was being hurt.

Her father froze in place at hearing the scream, directing all of the men but one to where came from.

She pointed off into the woods, saying there were more and that they went that way, watching as her father and the other men went after them, although her father pausing to make sure she was okay, rounding the corner she winced at seeing the boy on the ground was hurt. "I can watch him, father and the other men need your help," she said holding a pitchfork in her hand, taking another moment to convince the other man to go along.
As soon as they were out of sight she dropped the tool turned weapon. "Are you hurt badly?" she asked, she was still a little afraid of the user, but knew he was hurting, she took a small but clean towel from her apron pocket and carefully held it to his shoulder, "You can't stay here, it isn't safe," she watched his eyes for a moment before looking down to his shoulder. "I'm sorry, I don't think you mean to hurt anyone, you don't seem like it."

"It's apart of the contract. But I felt my rank was of no importance compaired to what we need to deal with." He looked up just slightly from his book as his glasses slid down his nose some. "You need help wth anything?"

"That sounds great, as long as we don't stay up to late. I want to get up early enough so i can show you how to fish some." Lavi grinned at her blush a small blush comming from his face as well as they headed towars the camp.

*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*

"You need not to cry Mele, It's all going to plan." A twisted grin came across Demyans face he was already pictureing in his mind how he was going to get this user to come join them.

The user inched back tighter agaist the wall as flinched when the towel touched him. His ears stayed drooped down in fear and his multi colored eyes looked up at her. He wasn't sure what to think, only that this all happened to quickly. He wrapped his tail around his wait still unsure, but wanting to be careful just in case. "I don't understand." He spoke in a nervious tone. "The people of this town hates Users, yet you let two of them in your home so warmly. Why?"

"If you want to give the horses a treat," she said shaking her head a bit, "so they keep priests on contracts now, and here I thought you were just a holy man," she grinned lightly at him, "I'm sure you talked them down, probably made them feel like scolded children," she joked knowing how Radar could be. "Once we get the fire started, dinner won't be long after,"

Seeing Ezri had dinner handled she carefully got out her lute, sitting a little away from where the fire was going to be, and carefully strumming it a bit. "Well, it generally takes a while to learn, but we have lots of time right?"

*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*

Mele simply held onto him, not lifting her head up from his chest, just trying to stay calm knowing, hoping, that he had things under control.

"What are you talking about?" she asked softly confused, "You mean that married couple? The ones who are my fathers age? Do you know them, that you know their Users?" She was genuinely confused at his words, "They said they wanted to stay because his wife was scared by something she saw in the woods," seeing his shoulder still bleeding she bit her lip lightly, moving forward and holding the towel against it, "The bleeding has to stop, it will get infected,"

Radar chuckled a bit at that as he got to his feet, taking the carrot shaveing and went over t feed the horses. "I didn't talk to them. I only spoke with my under study. He was worried about me safely returning so I told him i'd keep in contact. I trust him like I trust you. As soon as we make it to a town i'll send his a carrier pigeon to let him know everything is alright. Just how I did with you once I moved away."

Lavi made sure to place what they gathered to wherever Ezri wanted it. "I hope this is more than enough for tonight and maybe to take with us just in case." Looking back at Santha he gave her a small nod. "We have plenty of time."

*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*

The User slid up against the wall till he was on his feet faceing her. Pointing to his golden eye he explained. "I have the power to see through illusions, traps, and other false things. I can see it all through this eye and those two you let in so warmly are Users like I am, just under some illusion that your eyes cannot see. It shoudn't matter though, for why should you trust my words, you probally trust everything else that your kind tell you about us." He didn't like being mean to her, but he knew with all these reactions around him that a Plebian coud never like a User such as himself. "They'll be back, I bet if they get a hold of me again it won't be just one of my wings i'll loose. Then again with how your reaction was when you first saw me, I should never come back here again."

"Clever User isn't he. He'll be a great addition." Demyan stroked Mele's hair softly as he could hear everything going on outside and around him with his sharp hearing.

"Well, when you moved, I knew where you were going, dad had to take you guys there himself. Although, you are starting to sound more like me, just taking off without any warning," Ezri made a soft tisking noise at him, turning her attention to Lavi, "We shouldn't need much just to burn through the night," she answered starting a small pile of wood to work up into a fire, "I do wish there was an easier way to do this part,"

Santha grinned lightly, playing a more cheerful more dance like song for a few moments, although keeping the tone soft so as not to disturb Zoei.

*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*

Her eyes showed nothing but confusion at his words, slowly changing to realization that he was saying he did, or had liked her. She tried to ignore the harshness of his words and shook her head lightly. "You shouldn't stay anywhere where you will get hurt," she answered quietly, taking a deep breath trying to be calm, "The men, they will be back soon, you'll get hurt again if you don't leave, you can go inside and talk to the other Users if you want, but you must be quick, or else they may hurt you again." She was shaking lightly, no longer afraid of him, but just upset in general.

Mele stayed quiet realizing Demyan could hear what was happening even though she could not. "Can we leave soon?" she almost whispered, she didn't like this village anymore at all.

She had tears in her eyes and shook them away, pushing open the door to the tavern, "Their in the second room back, right through there, if you want to talk to them,"

Radar chuckled. "I did give you warning though as well as the other priest. You're just irrational all together." He joked back.

Lavi tilted his head to the side, watching Ezri now. Slipping off one of his gloves he lowered it to where se was trying to make a fire, using a small amount of his User powers to start one almost instantly. "Is that easier?" He wondered as he slipped his glove back on.

*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*

The User placed a claw to his lip. He didn't mean to make her cry, but he also knew he wasn't welcomed here to most places now to be exact. "Tray," He told her. "My name is Tray." He ran his hand through his hair not caring to much about his wound at the moment.

Demyan was already back on his feet by now, holding Mele in his arms as he carried her downstairs. He grinned as remove the illusion. Looking down at the young Tavern girl, he was more than happy to frighten her. When they reached the bottom of the stairs he placed Mele down gently. "Take this young user to our coach."

Tray looked at Demyan then back at the girl a frown across his face, but he knew that this was probally the best way. "I'm sorry." He muttered softly under his breath as he watched Mele.

Ezri smiled at Lavi, "Much easier, thank-you," Once the fire was blazing she carefully set the pot on rocks she had stacked to hold it, getting a good flame that would heat it well but not use up too much wood. "Oh, I am not," she teased back a Radar, "Just because I up and left home to travel on and on and on with no warning to anyone that I was going to do it, just a note the day I left," She grinned a bit shaking her head some with a small laugh. "Well, Maybe a little irrational."

Santha turned her attention the her lute after seeing Lavi start the fire, she was glad his powers could be helpful, she thought they were amazing but he didn't seem to like them at all. Frowning softly she was lost in thought.

*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*

"Tray," she repeated softly, glancing up and backing away when she saw Demyan, to her Mele looked rather harmless, she was so small and clung to him almost like a child, but his grin, full of malice and hate was terrifying. She took a step back giving them space to pass, not looking up at Demyan. "I understand," she almost whispered, clearly terrified of Demyan, not knowing she likely had good reason to be.

Mele nodded mutely a soft sigh as she led Tray to their coach, carefully looking for any other villagers that might see them along the way. Before holding the door to it open for him, "We need some medical things," she said softly to Demyan seeing the blood on Tray.

"i say that was irresponsible instead then." Radar laughed. He took his glasses off to wipe then clean some before setting them back on his nose. "And you say your friend Zoei doesn't think."

Lavi tilted his head some, listening to Radar and Ezri joke to each other, he shook his head, finding a good place to sit, making sure he wasn't to close to the rest of the group. Taking off his gloves, he took a small nail filers out and secretly filed down the claws on his hands. He didnt want anyone to get hurt by them, not have anyone know about them.

*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*

Tray looked down and took Mele by the arm, pulling her inside the coach with him. "We'll make due, the plebians are coming back soon, you can already see their torches getting bigger. By the way your friend looked, he's the type that would kill anything or anyone who would hurt you. So stay in here."

Demyan waited for them to leave before walking up to the tavern girl, grabbing her chin just slightly. "It's a shame that poor User seemed like he's been watching over you for a long time. Kind of like he fell in love with such a filthy being. So in respect of our new fighter. I'll let you live, but in return you grab us a medical kit so we can tend to him while we're on our way. Its not like you ever cared back. So there's no loss to you."

"I thought it through a lot before hand," she said shaking her head, "I still keep in contact with a few, its just better this way," she explained stirring what would soon be a nice vegetable stew.

Seeing Lavi off by himself for a bit, she watched him seemingly down before walking around and simply sitting behind him with her back leaned lightly against his. "I hope it stays nice like this for a while," she said very softly, not concerned with what he was doing to his hands, to her it had simply looked like he was trimming his nails, a normal thing to do, "It can be really relaxing."

*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*

The girl stepped away from him quickly, getting one of the larger medical kits they had behind the counter, handing it to him, and backing well out of his reach. "How can you care for someone you have never met," she said softly, obviously terrified of Demyan.

Mele frowned softly but pulled the coach door so that it was almost closed, sitting on the side Demyan normally took, she wrapped her capulet around her shoulders taking a deep breath, "I'm Mele," she said softly, making sure there was plenty of room on the seat for Demyan, "He's Demyan," she resisted the urge to move the curtain and watch for him, she knew he could take care of himself, but worried with the Plebians returning.

"I know, you a lot more responsible than most I know Ezri." Radar smiled. "I really respect that about you."

Santha leaning against his back didn't seem to startle Lavi one bit, he gotten used to her being around him, it actually made him more at peace. "I do to, I feel it's better to take this day by day, not think about the future for awhile, you know what I mean?"

*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*

"Exactly, how can 'You' care for someone 'You' have never met. Though it seems like he probably remembers and knows a lot more than you would ever know." He took the kit and rested it under his good arm. "As for us, he's a User like us, so we can take care of our brethren easily." Turning away from her he started to head out the door, pausing to look back at her once more. "Next time we cross paths may it not be on bad terms, for your sake." With that he walked out the door and to the coach, entering it as he closed the door behind him letting the coach ride off. He sat next to Mele handing her the kit.

"My name is Tray." He said softly as he kept a sad look on his face. He looked up as Demyan entered the coach then back down, leaning his back against his seat.

Ezri grinned a bit at his statement, "It helps to have good friends that you know you can count on," she gave him a soft smile, getting to her feet. "Since the stew is almost done, I'll go ahead and wake Zoei, it only needs to boil a bit longer so the vegeatbles will sofen, but not too much," she explained sure that Radar knew something about cooking, just not how much.
Getting to her feet, she carefully climbed up into the cart, kneeling next to Zoei and calling his name softly, wanting to wake him gently.

Santha nodded, "I agree with you," she said quietly, her eyes closed simply relaxed for the time being, to her camping out was exciting, and although there was lots of work involved pretty fun, "I do hope we have more times like this one our journey. I like learning new things, like how to set up tents, and camping."

*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*

The girl frowned softly, Demyan's words didn't make sence to her, only that the User, no Tray, had been watching her for a long time now. She leaned against the wall sliding to her knees, everything that had just happened was beyond overwhelming for her.

Mele took the kit carefully looking through it, most of the things in it she didn't know what were for. She found things for cleaning out the wound and gauze for bandaging it. "Here," she offered moving to kneel next to Tray on the seat knowing he would have a hard time tending this wound on his own. First Aid wasn't something she had much experience with, and she was a little nervous being close to someone else, but she really wanted to help him, knowing what it was like to be hurt by Plebians because of how you looked.

Zoei stirred as he moved his hat off his face. Seeing Ezri he gave her a sleepy grin. He opened his mouth to say something then closed it quick, catching himself from embarrassment. Pushing himself to sit up, he slipped his bandanna back on his head then stretched. "So we're camping tonight?"

Lavi smiled softly, happy about the thought as he finished with his claws, he slipped his gloves back on and placed the filer back in his bag. "Seems like dinner is ready once Ezri wakes Zoei. You hungry?"

Radar moved the stew over to sit on one of the flatter rocks as soon as it was ready, so it wouldn't over cook. Walking over to one of the boxes he took out the utensils needed for when Ezri got back.

*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*

Demyan got up from his seat taking a seat in between Mele and Tray, as he took the kit from her, and went straight to tending Tray's wounds. "Mele, it's alright." He said softly. He already knew how to take care of a wound, but to an extent as long as it wasn't himself. Taking out the needle and thread he started patching up where Tray's demonic wing was removed. "Sadly this will scar, what can you expect from those hateful plebains though."

Tray just nodded in response, keeping his head down. "She...is my half sister. My mother never told her father about it, instead she kept herself as well as I a secret from my little sister. Even our father didn't recognize me, It's not like he could anyways. Then again she's probably better off. I've always kept an eye on her though. Even if she's plebian, she's still blood."

Demyan arched a brow, he didn't expect this one bit.

"Yea, for as long as we can we plan to camp out, it'll make the trip more comfortable, I have a larger tent to put up for the horses if we get caught in any rains and enough blankets to make everyone sleeping in here comfortable. It may be a tad cramped with supplies, but I'm sure we can manage" she gave him a cute grin moving back and giving him space to get up, "Dinner's ready, it isn't too much, just a vegetable stew, but it should be good," hopping down she helped Radar get out the bowls to eat with. "Did you rest well?"

"Starved," Santha answered getting to her feet, offering a hand down to help him up. "It smells good, she said it was vegetable stew?" She asked, normally getting to sleep wasn't something to look forward to, however she was more excited for learning how to fish in the morning.

*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*

Mele stayed quiet watching Demyan work, it looked really gross and painful, but if she could learn how she may be able to help him if he got hurt later on. "Half-Sister?" she pondered to herself, moving back to the side Demyan sat on, a soft frown across her features as she was lost in thought. Family relationships didn't make a lot of sense to her,
