How was YOUR Mothers Day??
I just wanted to rant a little about mine and then see how YOU GUYS have been spending yours!
Well, I woke up at around 10, I went upstairs and my brother was just getting home with McDonalds! YAY! I was soo excited I was like "OHH SWEET! BISCUITS! But they didn't bring me any because he thought I'd be asleep... FINE!
Later! My little sis is like "dad needs lemons, you need to drive me to the store, I'll buy you something" I'm like OK!
We get in the car and she tells me that my brother hadn't bough anything for my om... WTF BRO?!?! THAT WAS YOUR JOB!!! SO I had to go buy her stuff, I had already settled on an outfit and flowers. EASY! We went to the mall and were there for like 2 hours looking for clothes that looked good. We FINALLY settled on an outfit, THEN we walked in to that Milliam Sonoma store and this lady gave us cookies and we were like HELLS YES! So then we left. AND THEN We had to go get her flowers... and we had to buy lemons, and we had to buy burgers, and we had to buy drinks, and we had to buy the lemons and some little grocery store, that is HELL out of the way, cuz they're cheaper there... SWEET DEAL! (IF GAS WERE FREE!)
SO I get home and then I don't feel happy, and I'm like WTF?!?! Then I find out that my dad is making FISH, and then I'm like "I don't like fish" and they're like "that's why we have burgers!" and I'm like YAY!!!!!
3 hours later? NO BURGERS!!! They made chicken for my brother and sis, and cousin... NOT FOR ME!
So now I'm hungry, ranty, and ITCHY! WHERE DID THE ITCHY COME FROM?!?!?! And I have NO idea when dinner starts... I AM HUNGRY!
That was SLIGHTLY more fun than the last 8 hours of my life. XD!
NOW TELL ME ABOUT YOUR MOTHERS DAY!!!! blaugh blaugh blaugh
PLEASE?! Maybe I can live a little vicariously, and forget the itchy. sweatdrop

Well, it's not like I could have done anything anyway, because today, my mum, my dad and my sister all went out to see the Chelsea vs. Arsenal game. (4-1 to Chelsea) So, I was stuck all by my lonesome, until about 7-ish, when I took my Grandmother out to supper. It was nice, but the portions were HUGE. Neither of us could finish anything other than the starters.
But I also bought two and a half litres of coke, so I feel that todays been a good day. Now, tomorrow... Not so much.

My Mom's been gone all weekend with my Dad, they went to celebrate Mother's Day Weekend with my Grandparents. They were supposed to be back by now. But then the RV they were driving broke down.
I should try doing something for her before they get back...

Boy, what you doing on Gaia, when you should be celebrating your mom!?!
I spent about $150+ on my mom... and she doesn't really realize that it was all my money... I need to blackmail dad into paying me some collateral for spending so much for him when I don't even have a job.
Today my mother got a WiiFit (me), a Foodprocessor (me), a braclet (Iris), and some Mardi Gras looking necklaces (dad).
I feel used...

I made pancake cakes which turned out tasting like pancakes ... (duh)
I made some crap smoothie because my dad didn't feel like going out to buy some yogurt ...
I made some jelly rolls which were a bit dry.
Everything was cold because my mom came home late ... sad

I came home for Mother's Day. lawl.
I'm broke because I just bought my boyfriend a super-huge Graduation Gift.
(Hey! Mother's day comes every year, boyfriends only graduate from College once!)

i was convinced that yesterday was mother's day. and then i found out around 2pm that it was actually TODAY (oh s**t), so i wished my mom a happy mother's day. and i'm going to go do some cleaning as a present.
she's lucky i'm even in the same state talk2hand
edit: also i cooked steak for dinner.

Had a picnic with my dad's current "wife's" family, and called my mom later to tell her. Doesn't sound like much, but it was all I could do. cool

Well, I made stuffed pasta shells for my mom on Friday...Then Today, I made her brownies, and gave my mom a book. biggrin

it went fine. Gave mom her gift and she actually teared up (she thought I wasn't going to get her anything) and I'm like "AUGH STOP GETTING ALL EMOTIONAL".
We went for Mother's Day lunch yesterday to beat the crowd, and had Peach Chicken for dinner.
Then we went for the BEST ICE CREAM EVER (extremely good dark chocolate gelato) and called it a day.

TEDIE-- I loved that movie! That sounds like a really good evening.
TRISK-- I spent most of the day hiding from my family, there were like 10 people running around here... emo
